I am selling a 3 month old 8800 GTS made by eVGA with 320 MB of memory for $200 OBO. Card has never been overclocked. I am selling it because I no longer game heavily. Please PM me if you are interested. I accept payment by Paypal. Thanks for your interest!
I'm looking to sell a like new eVGA 6800 GT AGP 8x. Was a replacement from eVGA for an RMA about a month ago. Never overclocked or abused. Comes with all retail packaging except box. Looking for $275, price is negotiable. Would also be willing to trade for a 6600GT AGP + cash. Send a PM or...
The bug only occurs at 2D core speeds BELOW 400. SO far, I have only seen the bug on 6800 GT's and 6800 Vanilla. If you overclock 2D speeds above 400, the temperatures will drop to what they should be.
UPDATE: I flashed my BIOS to the latest Nvidia default for the 6800 GT AGP, and the temp...
I forget what the files are called, but there are some MSI specific files in the driver directory. If you installed them from a CD, copy them over your hard drive and delete those files from the folder. Then when you install them by running the .exe or force installing them through the device...
I haven't ran into a 70 series driver that worked well with WoW. I've found that the Quadro certified 67.22's work well for me, shimmering is really not noticeable to me with those.
First off, no, that card is not gonna smoke anything in today's graphics arena, nor did it ever. Second, if this card was GIVEN to you, you aren't at any loss, I myself wouldn't bitch about anything free. Realistically, you are going to be able to play most games low res and low to medium-low...
World of Warcraft has weird glitches in empty UI squares. I also got flashing water after 45 mins of playtime. It also seemed that the card ran hotter in that period, but that may have just been me.
I'm not going to get into this, obviously he has come into this forum and looked to start shit with people. If he thinks he can hurt somebody's feelings by insulting their machine specs, he has a lot to learn. By the way, I use Firefox and can multitask just fine, it's not my fault I have...
Go away. Posting crap like that only makes you look like a "dumbshit." Although I would expect this from somebody that has been on the forums for 10 days and is already at Limp Gawd.
You can tell from the benchmarks from the Inqwell they were sent from ATi. I would not buy into any marketing BS any company published about their own product.
The drivers are full of bugs and debug code. Many people are getting weird rendering errors in Far Cry and a few other games. I would consider these drivers more alpha than beta.
Title says it all. Recertified for GeForce 6 Series cards only. Get them at Nvidia's FTP site.

I would also remove that fan sticker. The are notorious for coming off. One day I opened my case to do some routine cleaning, and the sticker was holding for dear life. It would be a bummer to fry an expensive video card just because the sticker jammed up the fan.
You should have read the date on the article.

This story is from last year. And shouldn't this be in the gaming forum? I see the title of the thread but nothing in this thread mentions a 6800 GT.
Edit: Beat me to it.
I am looking for a Northwood core 3.06 GHz 533 MHz FSB. processor. I would prefer a standalone CPU, but will take offers for retail boxes too. Looking for it pretty cheap, but most retailers sell this chip for more than the 800 MHz FSB models.
Shoot me an offer through PM or athomaslv77...
Usually, smaller hardware stores have MORE oddball screws than Lowe's or Home Depot. I work at an Ace, and I know we carry miniature screws that are much smaller than the screws on my 6800 GT. I would try to find a smaller hardware store where the people can help you a lot more than one of the...
