Could this be caused by the cooler being to tight? Despite snapping one standoff on the original Silencer by overtightening, I still run the little buggers about as tight as can be. Could say, one of the RAM extrusions be pushing the RAM chip too hard?

Look for a company called Prometco, in Washington state. They have a Prima Industrie flatbed laser cutting system. The operator cuts out fan grills in his spare time. If that doesn't work, try calling up Frozen CPU or whoever and ask them where they get their fan grills cut from.

The red/blue LED from LSDiodes is 2300 mcd avg. brightness. That's definitely bright enough to let you know what's going on. Like was previously stated, any brighter, and you start lighting up the room. I'd go with LSDiodes, just because the price and service are top notch.
