Biostar Tforce overclocking stories??

biostar t6100-939 amd 64 3500+
what do you all think the best bios is for it
i'm stuck at 274fsb 3ghz ram is at 200mhz with a 150 and i have tried 133 100 but its generic ram i think thats why i cant get any farther or my no name 400w psu
and how much voltage can i put to the chip i've got very good heat sink and fan i will keep it 38c at idle and 53c load at a 1.65v and i read some where as long as dont add more than .3 you are ok is that true and its stock betwean 1.35-1.4v
and its prime 95 stable for so far 8 hours
i'm kinda new to overclocking just need some help

Can someone post their 3dmark01SE and 3dmark03 scores for the onboard 6100.

Mine:
3dMark01SE : 5127, cant believe my nforce2(m7ncg400) onboard mx400 is faster by 60 points
3dMark03 : 1345

I can't even OC with USB 2.0 capablity. I'm having a problem with USB 2.0 loading. Would this be a PSU issue or a MB?

This isn't exactly the right place to post this, but I think this is the only place I'll get a response!

Do any of you guys have the SPDIF connector that comes with the TFORCE motherboards that you'd be willing to sell or otherwise part with?

I need one for an HTPC build with a GeForce 6100-M7 motherboard!

Thanks!

Does this originally come with a T-Force 6100 (939)??? If so, I don't think I've used mine... you are more than welcome to it if it is.

Send a PM if interested and I'll get back at ya'

I am trying to ask Biostar support if they will enable the Hammer CPU multiplier option(as in the manual) in a future bios but they tell me that some AMD CPU's are totally locked and that the option is already in the bios. They says it is just my CPU that can't be adjusted.

Does this mean if I upgraded from my A64 3000+ to an FX-55 I would be able to adjust the multiplier in the BIOS? That sweet deal on the Egg is calling.

What kind of 3000 are you running. Winchester? Venice? Sempron?

I've never not seen Hammer FID Control:

I am running a Venice core 3000. I guess I need to rephrase my question. Will the Hammer FID allow a multiplier HIGHER than the stock speed of a CPU that is unlocked, such as the FX-55? (it has a multiplier of 13, would I be able to go to a multiplier of 14 or 15?)

Only the FX series allow the multiplier to go above default...

Yes I know this. My question is, will this Biostar MB show multipliers above default if I installed an FX-55 CPU on it?

what's the best overclocking bios for this board?

I need this too. I have a tforce 939 6100 and an opteron 148. Running stock bios at the moment.

i think that the biostar 6100 939 is horrible for overclocking. I cannot get past 265 htt either. I tried different bios, lowered htt freq, etc. Now my opty 165 won't be able to get a nice oc. I'd rather die than use software based overclocking

I guess everybody's experiences are different. It's also dependent on the specific capability of the individual components. I've been running the Rebels Haven mod of the CU51M811 bios and I lucked out on my opty 144. Not prime stable at 3150GHz up to 1.55v, but is prime stable at 3000GHz at 1.4v.

why can't i oc much?? my overclock as of now is 2.8 with 1.475 volts and my ram is at 280 at 2.5-3-3-6 at 2t (can't get past 200mhz on 1t) and im testing 2.5-3-3-5 right now... and that is with 2.7 volts...

Here are all my specs.
Biostar TFORCE6100-939
Geilone TCCD 2x 512mb
opteron 148.
XFX 7900gs

Which BIOS are you guys using to break 300 HTT? Im using the newest RH modded bios, and tried a few others, but I cant seem to break 280. Ive read of other people with the same issue but never found a resolution.

I am using CU51M811RH

For some reason I couldnt get it to work at 280 either so I pushed on. 282 then 283 .... they all worked. (Opteron 144 btw)

I am using CU51M811RH also on the Tforce6100-939.

Ive tried 280,285,290,295,299,300,301,310 and all of them wouldnt boot. Ive tried every multiplier/divider combination possible and Ive been trying different ram timings for about a month.

Opteron 170 @2.8 Stock Vcore
Biostar Tforce6100-939
G.Skill 2GB DDR500 HZ
Evga 7800GTX
Corsair 520w PSU

Anyone with a tforce am2? I'm at 330x8 in bios (sempron 2800 stock 1.6, now at like 2.67) at default voltage. However I can't get higher than 330, 340 will memtest but is flakey in windows. Any reccomendations?

what's the highest vdimm on this mobo without changing the jumper to 3,3v

I recently did some searching on value mobo nforce4 socket 939 which can give >3.0 vdimm and the result is only DFI Infinity which can delivered that high vdimm. Others only 3.0v maks

I did some reading and alot of older post recomended bios Cu51mb02RH. With this bios I can post up to 290, currently at 2.9 (290x10) 1.4v. Is there a newer bios thats better at hitting high HTT? Ive got a water setup on the way and want to push this CCBBE as far as it will go.

does anyone hear know if the Zalman 9500/9700 will fit on a Biostar T-Force 6100 in a Q-Pack???

Hi guys, im new here. I use tforce4 u (s939) and i have some problems with oc. I wrote to biostar twice, but i didnt get a response. Does anyone have a beta bios or smth for that board?

RebelsHaven always comes to mind when I am looking for modified BIOS.

I just switched from the EVGA SLi mATX board to a fresh TForce 6100-939 and got my X2 4800+ up to 3GHz (250 x 12).

I am reluctant to push it further without liquid cooling, 3GHz from socket 939 is plenty.

I'm just using the bios off Biostar's website and oc is fine. Are you sure its not your cpu?

I think it doesnt OC because of teamgroup xtreem, cause they dont work at 240fsb @ 3.3V (2-2-2-5)....i think they are not compatible with this mobo...so i suppose a bios update would fix that problem..
