Same price as dell if your getting charged tax, not to mention you will probably get it much sooner if its back ordered at dell already.
trinibwoy said:Yeah I saw this as well and don't understand the hoopla. The Dell deal is $530 for me after tax with shipping in two weeks and we have GTXs shipping now for $535. So shouldn't we expect even lower prices by the time Dell ships?
trinibwoy said:Hmmm what decides whether you pay tax or not? It charges tax for NY - anybody know if NJ is tax free?
James54321 said:Just keep in mind that these places CAN charge you restocking fees. Newegg.com, for the most part, has not, but seriously, this is because they put the customer first. Enough people start refusing shipments and theyll start enforcing the restocking fees. I cant speak for Tiger Direct, but just keep in mind that they can indeed charge the restocking fee on any returned merchandise: opened or not. Unless of course you have a case like Buy.com, where you tried to cancel before it shipped and they ignored your e-mail until AFTER it went out.
I also agree with canislupy... though tempting, Id eat the $66 and just do the right thing. That said... I really want to go home so I can order this stupid thing.

I've always concluded that if I were to buy ANY Nvidia card, it will always be BFG. Their offerings can't be beat AND I'll pay extra money to have piece of mind for their warranty.
Tormond said:Both of mine that I ordered from Dell show up as the BFG card (the SKUs match) and BFG seems to call their card an "OC" (for overclocked)
BFG linkage
Dell linkage

I would of rather ordered online so i could get the extra 2% DPA and 3% Fatcash but the 20% off coupon wasn't working online so i called and she did it all manually for me hehe.

texuspete00 said:Mine shipped too. So I wouldn't bring up old ATi issues any more.
No Tax in CT... 491.... HAWT!
gsboriqua said:First of all, it was just a suggestion for those who may order now and the card ends up on back order. The OP posted a great deal from dell. This was just an alternative for those in locations where they charge tax (Me included). Also if you wanted to buy two it would be cheaper to buy Ewiz's set of MSI boards (again for Tax people). Its just an alternative, i'm not trying to turn BFG fan boys into MSI fan boys.....get a grip
