Countdown to 1000 new borgs/addition

Upgraded my wife's Venice to an E4300 @ 3 GHz running two instances of the standard client. So, +1 and a lot more speed.

958

three e6700's running 3 Smp clients

960

Did you added three? is so dot an extra off two from the most recent count.

EDIT: I've done it for him, he added three but only counted one.

CURRENT COUNT:
956

Delete - P4 2.0Ghz - Console - Linux (Father Needed Basic Computer)
Add - E2140 Linux SMP
Add - E2140 Linux SMP

I am maxed at this point. Unless someone wants to just give me systems. Even then I have no more space left!

955

I suppose I should add:

+1 Q6600 (2 clients)
-1 XP 2100

Net result is one more folding client, and much faster unit turn arounds to boot

954?

:D

Added an E2140 @ 3.2 (Running SMP) and a 754 Venice 3000+ @ 2.5 tonight.

947

I'm guessing that'll be two clients in itself, so that'll be

948

Reminder: Don't count the number of cores you have folding, count the clients please.

947

Added a dual Opteron system last Friday. Running one SMP Linux client on it.

Posted in the SMP countdown, but add and upgraded, OC-ed 3600 X2 running SMP.

Also....

A64 3500 being used for Linux dev stuff conveniently back folding thanks to a power supply contribution from EvilAlchemist :D

Added a few:)

E6750 2.66 2g ram running two standard clients
Five Celeron 2.4g 512m ram
Eight Celeron 2.8g 512m ram

Fifteen total!!

Add the E2160 in my sig, bout to turn in it's first WU!

928

Just loaded it on my E6750. My first workunit should be done around 4pm EST.

922

Just added a few boxes and completely switched over my pre-existing boxes to the Console client. Nearly all run the SMP client as well. All I need now is another CPU and mobo for my empty Ultra Microfly.

1x Xeon 3060 (E6600) @ 3.15GHz - Home box
2x PentiumD 3.4GHz
2x T7100 Laptops that weren't doing anything. - Not sure how long I will have these :(
1x Dual-core Dual CPU Xeon 2.8GHz running four virtual clients. - Not sure about the ideal set up for this one. I will probably have to look at loading a 64-bit OS to really take advantage of this machine.

908

Dual Quadcore running 2x SMP Clients [1 client full time, 2nd one turned on every night and while at work]

907

Used to read Maximum PC when it was 'CDROM Today', then 'Boot', and only slightly in the current incarnation. Lost its edge, if you ask me.

edit: [email protected] (16hrs/day) and T7200 (20hrs/day)

Well now your [H]ard :D

One Q6600 at 2.4 GHz for like 16/h a day because I'm going to be fooling around with it. I won't overclock it on stock cooling so I'll order a heatpipe for it and OC it. Hopefully I can get it going 24/h.

904

Since this thread was opened I've added:

2 HP DL360 Gen5 Dual Xeon E5450 (quadcore 3ghz)
1 HP DL380 Gen5 Dual Xeon E5345 (quadcore 2.33ghz)

and I've got 4 more boxes on the way.

Run a diskless system and don't waste your money on windows.

two for the price o' one.

888
Dell Dimension 4500
1.8Ghz P4, 512Mb RAM
Folding at 66% usage.....Can I increase it to 100% and expect it to still be useable? (Does it only fold when idle?)
887
Compaq Armada E500:
600Mhz P3, 128MB RAM
Folding 100%, 24/7! >:D
Both've been working since before the new year, and I'll keep 'em going as long as I can.

The single core client is VERY good at running at low priority, so the computer will be very usable with the client at 100% :)

oh yea and

887

doing a helluva job here guys :D

I borged my work computer today. I just put the regular (not SMP) client on for now. I might change over to the SMP in a few days after I see what that computer is going to be willing to do.

I just signed up yesterday and started folding with 8 Single core 2.8ghz to 3.0 Ghz P4's with 512-1024 ram. I've been asked to update this thread and it all makes sence, How did u guys get the numbers in Big Red print? thanks!
