Hey guys,

I'm buying multiple NEC 2490's. What I'm wondering is, can I get a regular 2490 (LCD2490WUxi) , and also get a spectraview 2490 (LCD2490WUxi-SV) , and use the calibration software/hardware to calibrate ALL of the monitors? (all meaning the non -SV 2490)

It sounds like the -SV version just puts a i1display and spectraview software in the package, which would lead me to believe that I can use those on multiple monitors, yes?

Just want to make sure before I pull the trigger! :D

The Spectraview II software will only calibrate NEC Spectraview monitors. The calibration hardware is a rebranded X-Rite i1 Display 2 colorimeter and can be used on other systems if you download the i1 Match software from X-Rite.

Are you in the US? if so then that should not be a problem from what I know.... Seeing as you can buy the software package at a later time for the nonSV monitor.

Don't know about UK.
