"alveri" is my design company, the graphic was Photoshopped on but will be applied in a week or two once I figure out how to transfer it correctly.

I picked mine up today at CompUSA for $39.99, I love it.
Entire case very nice

Still waiting on my new motherboard, cpu, ram, and cooler. I'm going to stick with my 7900gs for now til the money floats along for a 8800 or newer version.

walwalka, I can't noticing that your front IO panel seems to have a dent in it?

I am getting one of these tommorow so I'll post some pics!

Here are some pics of my setup in its current state. I am however in the process of installing a CCFL kit, and a custom window. I'll post those pics when I finish.

My case, not the tidiest in the world, but good enough for me. No cutting:

Note my foot in this pic.

I did some more tidying up but didn't do any pictures.

Time to revive this thread from 2nd page "alright"ness to 1st page greatness! :p

My new Centurion 5, my second! With the blue trim instead of silver like my other one. Brand new build. Everything but one hard drive, the DVD drive, and 2 of the installed 4 gigs of RAM is what I just received from Newegg 4 days ago!

Shot with all of it near completion, with a few of the wires all over the place. I cleared them up before anything else, so no worries. I would have got the Zalman 9500 for the cpu, but since I'd already spent 1200$ on everything else I really didn't have much more to spend at all. I actually like the looks of the Intel stock cooler somewhat, and it's just fine as I'm not overclocking until I get the Zalman.

The case in all its glory. All the extra stuff on it came with my Asus P5W deluxe MOBO. The white antenna is the wifi thingamajig which has a magnetic base that goes on top, and the small black square at the edge is the receiver for the remote hanging there.

This case is beautiful in person, more so then the silver one. Blue is my favorite color too!

There it is. I'll get some internal shots later on, once I fix up the wires inside cause they're in a bit of a mess at the moment.

Step 1: Painted inside of case red.
Step 2: Mounted 120mm red LED in front, replaced rear 120 with a red LED 120
Step 3. Mounted 2 Zalman fan controllers.
Step 4. painted CD drive jet black, and removed white lettering from card reader.
Step 5. Cable management, zip tied EVERYTHING
Step 6. Replaced the blue LED's in the front panel with red ones! :]

Future steps: Install Zalman 9500, with the fan painted black to hide blue LEDs.
Install 320GB Sata once it arrives. :]

All comments welcome! :p

Some simple updates to my wife's Tropic Blue

Changed monitor from CRT to LCD (a small 17" one).
Changed speakers from cheap CA speakers to Altec Lansing ones during a sale at Staples (got them for $19 AR).
Added a TV tuner card (Hauppage HVR 1800)
Added a linksys wi fi card.

Few more cards.

Swapped fans with another 80mm Cooler Master fan i had...
I'm waiting on a Blue 12'' CCFL, and a fan for the cpu HS.
I might keep the current one on there, not sure yet.

Slight edit::

OOK... i started modding yesterday and it turned out pretty sweet looking..
Im diggin the orange/black (the only blue i used is in the fans/ccfl)
The blue light makes it look brown though.
But i used a pumpkin orange instead of a florescent orange. Looks a lot better....
heres a few pix of my case totally dismantled.. that was fun..... not!

And an hour of letting that dry with a box fan in front of it on high.. lol
I sprayed it...

I still have to get the side panel done..

I talked with a guy that does airbrush work and he told me that it would cost at least 100$ to do the whole case and i wouldn't get it back for a week or two..
so i said F-It and sprayed it myself.
But he did say that he would airbrush a toxic waste symbol on it with some decent detail for about 20$ so i'm going with that plan..

>>>I have a question to all of you that painted yer C5's....
What was yer trick to getting the front bezel aluminum sides to keep paint.. every time i spray mine is runs like crazy.. and i've tried airbrush and spray paint....
And i've tried very thin coats and it still looks like @$$.. aaargh!!

I'm finally building a whole new rig and I just ordered a Centurion 5 in blue. Once it gets here (Tuesday or Wednesday) I'll have my rig built. Specs are in sig.

Martinez, that orange case is awesome!
