Did you have any issues with a bluish tint over your colors? And I don't mean an exaggerated blue, but enough to interfere with whites/greys. Also, when you exchange through HP, do they send you a new monitor? I think I might have to get an exchange.

Bumping up the contrast in Nvidia control panel should fix that. Edit - I tried 20% for contrast in Nvidia control panel and that seems to make the whites whiter. But if you do that, you need to change the gamma to 42-43% too.

Yeah, that's what I've been saying too for those with the buzzing problem... Just set it to 100% and adjust it through your vid card settings or another program. Cut out that whole section with all the bar codes (or peel if you want since it's a sticker).

Yeah, I think I mentioned that before too about the noise coming from the inside when the monitor is off... or maybe I talked to somebody about it in a PM; I don't remember. Either way, that sound is barely audible so it's not a problem.

At the same price, I'd say get the LG, but the LG clearance price tends to run around $396. Also, you need to consider that the LG is on clearance so stock is running...
