Lol I saw that auction on eBay, they went for super cheap. Would've bought them but I didn't want to waste my time parting it out.

Heres my current complete stereo setup now for my computer, just got my Energy RC-10 bookshelves in a couple weeks ago to complete it.
whats/where is SE?
Handsome set-up kniff! How do you find the ribbon tweeters of your XTZs?
I read somewhere that those are the same tweeters that Monitor Audio is using for their flagship Platinum line (not confirmed though?). Usually, MA also gets those comments about sibilance or sharpness. Well, it's really a matter of preference, isn't it? I'm a MA user myself, by the way.

Heres my current complete stereo setup now for my computer, just got my Energy RC-10 bookshelves in a couple weeks ago to complete it. It consists of a Harman/Kardon HK 3485 Stereo receiver thats rated for 150 watts per channel into 4 Ohms which the Energys are rated for 150 watts into 4 Ohms so it works out perfect. Its also paired with a 12" 400-watt Infinity subwoofer when I want some intense bass. The speakers are still in their break-in period but they already sound amazing and put out respectable bass for bookshelves. Anyway heres the pics:
If you think Bose sounds amazing, then you haven't heard anything yet
maybe people who used Bose before didn't buy the monster cables, those are night and day difference, without them I could see why people would not warm up to Bose, but once you swap the included speaker wire, with some nice Monster ones, it is just unbelievable.

Ladic's a retard.
/end.
I think you need not be so lame and respect his opinion. He thinks they sound better, thats entirely up to him! He's as entitled to his opinion about Bose being awesome speakers as you are to your opinion about how crappy and how bad they are.
geez... it's his stuff.

Devil_trigger, how's the PS212 subwoofer? I'm sortof thinking of getting a dual PS210 setup for my room. (and so i don't have to "upgrade" in the future. ).
Here's my humble bedroom. Currently the Center speaker and the CD player above the TV have swapped places so i could angle it down more. And the PS3 had a YLoD a week ago.
For what I got it for I think it sounds amazing. I paid about $270 new and shipped and I only have a basic cable running the signal to it right now. Its nice and punchy for a 12-incher and when I want it to be very boomy and obnoxious its got plenty of room to do it lol. It vibrates every wall in my house. I also have a 12 inch 300 watt JBL for home HT setup that is really good as well and I paid about the same for that. Neither of them have let me down.
I might use my second sub output to run an outdoor subwoofer since I have little speakers out there and I love bass.
