A note on that case. The newer video cards (I have the HD3850) are very long. You might have problems fitting one in your case with the 5.25" drives there. Just a word of caution.
You know, as bad as it sounds, SWG:Jump to Lightspeed (before Rage of the Wookiees) was really fun. PvE and PvP. Course, in the end my friend and I got bored and we would have a contest to see who could do something the fastest/without getting hit/etc.
We quit shortly after that.
erm...yeah you can....
I've got an Opteron 170 @ 2.7Ghz, ASRock 939Dual SATA 2, 3 Sata drives, 1 IDE drive, CD burner, DVD burner, and an X800 XL AGP all running off of 350W...

2700 MHz (10 x 270) @ 1.312v
ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 (1.50 Bios)
AMD Retail cooler
/edit:
Temp2 is the CPU, under full load (or as close as I can get it) it gets to about 53C @ 1.40v which will prime95 for hours on end. My motherboard tops at 274Mhz...
I've got the same gripe. The closest thing we've got not to a space combat sim is SWG: Jump to Lightspeed. It's ok as far as combat sims go, the graphics are ok. I know that there is a really nice open source C++ 3D engine (http://www.OGRE3D.org) that could make one. I started playing around...
Using Frontpage for websites is like using Word to publish the JC Penny catalog...stupid.
stay far far far away from it. I use dreamweaver mainly because of the coloring of code. It makes it much easier to keep things organized in my head.
Hmm...
$749 - 30% off - $14 (Free shipping) - $35 (Dell Home Coupon) + $40.37 (Tax to TX) + $14 (Shipping) = $529.67 shipped.
That's $2 more than I got my first for. Now if only I could justify it.
I've got my 2500 running almost 2.4Ghz. I think it's 14x170 @ 1.55v. I can't unlock the multi on mine (super locked), so I've gotta go with tamer settings.
Well, on a good day (ie not 95 outside) I get 48c 49c when playing SWG, Far Cry, Sim City 4, etc. It usually idles around 43c. My apartment is usually about 78f. I don't have that great of a case for cooling. It's pretty cramped.
