i've never been able to get ichat av to work with a windows aim without first jumping through hoops on the windows side. Yahoo has been 100% flawless in regards to communicating with windows and osx users, and if both sides have a decent connection the video quality is outstanding.

mm i can't wait to buy my 13" macbook. I was contemplating the 15" but 13" is nicer for frequent flights and really who can argue with an intel core duo mac laptop for around a grand (or less :D ) -esr

i for one don't understand why apple must keep their plans secret. who cares if they spend soo much on r and d and have a steadily increasing market share and the market cornered on design. i want a five year road map and i want them to stick with it, no surprises mean no fun and no fun means...

nope, no point really. i turned my back on a decade of pc uses due to apple's more pleasing design and interface. now i have the ability to revert to an older, less stable os when needed. i'd wager everyone in the budget camp would he happy though, installing OSX on their newest $500 budget...

i use sophos on mine, works fine, universal binary too. -esr

while photoshop obviously lags in rosetta, everything else about my 2ghz 20" imac (2gb ram) far exceeded my expectations and i prefer it greatly to my previous dual 2ghz G5 powermac with 4gb of ram and a 20" ACD. -esr

waiting for leapord is probably best as apple's indicating bootcamp is beta and won't last for long (read all the info you agree to ;) ) -esr
