Hm, haven't thought about too much about the lost pixels in vertical space. Since I only plan to use this as a monitor not a TV, I would stick to 1080p. Just wonder how the IPS panel for LCD TV compare to monitor since I do plan to do a fair bit of photo processing.

On the web site it seems to imply that 30 day return only applies to 50 US states. Not sure if it applies to Canada. Also not sure about DHL shipping -- Is there any additional fees other than tax ? Checked NCIX and there is no stock. May need 2 weeks to order.

I'm sitting in front of my 42" 1080P westinghouse LCD TV right now and it has been like that for 1.5 years. I sit about 3-4 feet away using a wireless mouse/keyboard. No problem whatsoever. I even do some casual photoshop work with this setup.

Use the monitor for a day and I like it very much. Text is actually quite good especially after calibration and maybe some "warmup", much better than the Dell E228WFP that was replaced. No dead or stuck pixel. Color in movie and photo are great. Viewing angle is not good but since I use it...

Just received mine. Text is not as sharp as I hope and I wonder if it's related to TN panel. What's the brightness/contrast setting that you guys used ? I have a spyder3pro and will use that to calibrate but it would be nice to have a good starting point. thanks francis

Thanks for the update. Just ordered a BenQ G2400W from NCIX mainly for office, but I will see how it fits at home for photo, web, some movie etc. If it's fine, I will stay with it and move my 20" CRT to office otherwise I will move BenQ to office and get a DS-263N for home use.
