lawless2142, you are right. I never noticed that the signals were reversed until I played the realtek audio manager for my onboard sound. I am using onboard sound, my gigabyte mobo has SPDIF out, so I am using the optical out. I swapped the wires on the sub woofer and it is fine now...

One of the appealing things about this set (for me) is the optical out. My mobo has onboard spdif out so I can finally put it to use. I am hoping that it will sound cleaner than the onboard analog.

I believe you have to pay for shipment to them. Also, can you tell us when your monitor was manufactured? It should say on the shipping box or on the monitor itself.
