A little off topic, but I wanted to know what you guys use to pull the wire. I'm new to this and also need to run cat6. However, I'm in TX and we don't have basements, only really really tight attic spaces :(
I will have only one other person helping, and I don't mind spending money on tools...
@deff, What's the securityKey?
Also, a lot more instances of bogus charges are posted on their facebook fan page.
www.facebook.com/Monoprice.com - people are sharing their bogus charges and where they came from, but it sounds like most people were upset that Monoprice has not sent an email or...
I got mine from the BenQ store before they stopped selling them. I know they are hard to find now but I am very content with mine. It's sad that the market is now flooded with TN panels instead of improved IPS or MVA panels.
I think there is one here actually on the for sale/trade...
That's the only complaint I've had about newegg. Depending on the shipping warehouse, the packing may downright suck.
2ntense, can you reupload that image? I'd like to see your benchmarks.
I am looking into these drives for a RAID1 backup system. I just got my raid 2 drive enclosure :)
lawless2142, you are right. I never noticed that the signals were reversed until I played the realtek audio manager for my onboard sound. I am using onboard sound, my gigabyte mobo has SPDIF out, so I am using the optical out.
I swapped the wires on the sub woofer and it is fine now...
From compu2000's FAQ.
4. Does Compu2000.com offer international shipping?
Unfortunately, we do not provide international shipping at this time. We ship only within Canada.
edit: I posted this link in another thread but this one is specifically for the s330d's, so I'll post it here. I...
Well, they arrived today. I was a little worried when I saw the box because it looked a little roughed up. Once I opened the box I understood why the box was so easily beat up, there is no styrofoam inside for padding.
I took some photos of the box and of the unveiling. Excuse my mess, I...
One of the appealing things about this set (for me) is the optical out. My mobo has onboard spdif out so I can finally put it to use. I am hoping that it will sound cleaner than the onboard analog.
$31.82 shipping from NCIXUS to Texas.
Although when tracking them on the FedEx site, the original departure was from Washington... perhaps they have a warehouse there?
Either way, the package is stated at 23 lbs, which is going to be pricey anyway.
I believe Edifier is a Chinese company and the only retailer that is selling to North America is the Canadian based retailer, NCIX. Their US site is NCIXUS.com and I purchased the S330D from there and paid 31 dollars for FedEx 3-4 day shipping.
I should get them on Thursday and I hope they...
Sorry to hear that goldz, I chose Fedex Express Saver since it was the cheapest (31 bucks to Texas) and I've never had a problem with Fedex.
Many retailers slap a shipping label on the retail box and ship them like that if they are large and heavy, since they are essentially in shipping...
Edifiers came back in stock at NCIX and I pulled the trigger. Shipping cost me 31 to the US and I should expect them by next Friday at the earliest. My city is a little chaotic right now with Hurricane Ike... =)
I believe you have to pay for shipment to them. Also, can you tell us when your monitor was manufactured? It should say on the shipping box or on the monitor itself.
This post and your initial post contradict a little.
Perhaps the "regulars" of the Computer audio section can create a sticky with a setup for budget (0-200), midrange (200-500), and high-end (500+) systems.
Of course the prices can differ per person. Based on my intern salary, my high...
NCIXUS.com has the product is stock so I think people in the US can buy them. I will order a set if I have funds left from my vacation :P
edit: Shipping is 32 Bucks to US.
Manual for Product
The encoding is done almost entirely by the CPU...
I have an AMD 4850e CPU and I used Vista's DVD Maker to burn the dvd I mentioned before and encoding took almost an hour while burning took a few minutes.
Haven't tried Nero to compare the speed difference but I would expect Nero to...
What DVD Burner are you using?
If you are burning home videos, then it may take a while for the software the encode your video and the actual burn time may be less than half an hour depending on the burn speed, and dvd drive.
For example, I burned a 12GB .avi video file, and it took nearly...
As others have mentioned, the 780G can handle the HD content so the board you chose is good enough. I actually have the downgrade version of the board you linked, the gigabyte S2H which is about 70 bucks now. It plays bluray discs without a hiccup and my amd 4850e is usually at 30% utilization...

black or silver. Each arm can support 20lbs when used with the grommet mount. I used it for two monitors that weight nearly 18lbs each. (24" and an older 19" lcd)...
Not sure if you read his post correctly sapceman, but the question from skatin64 was would you prefer the 40w behringers or the 40w m-audio's...
thenerds.net have the MS40's for 110 plus 10 shipping..
The m10 are also on theaudioinsider for 110.

You can see the M10 on newegg, but it's been deactivated.

Not sure how a 24 and a 26" would pair up, but buy.com has the ergotron dual arm with free shipping. I got mine from there and I love it. I wouldn't trust a cheap arm to hold up nearly 40lb's of expensive equipment.
Also, I highly recommend using the grommet mount with this arm. The clamp...
I'm not sure how I would connect the digital monitors. I have a gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H with an Optical S/PDIF Out Connector, and four speaker out jacks. My ignorance is shining here :D
Yeah man let us know what you think. I have been reading about the AV40 and the AV30 (since they are smaller). I'd like to hear your opinion especially since you are coming from the Klipsch 5.1.
Where did you buy them from?
I don't get the 6 month later response by TimG, but thank you for resurrecting the thread :D
I am currently in the market for a 2.1 maybe 2.0 setup ( I enjoy bass) mostly for music and movies, zero gaming.
I have considered the logitech , klipsch and started reading about the Swan's...
