There is no satelite above Alaska.... We have to aim our satelites at the horizon and pray that the signal gets a few good bounces along the way to hit your fancy lower 48 satelites... :rolleyes:
I've lived in Alaska for the past 21 years and seen lightning maybe twice.... Heard thunder maybe 6 times... One of those times my neighbor lost two computers and a tv to it. Extra couple of bucks would be well worth it IMHO.
A person with a lot of certs and no exp looks like a dumbass, but for someone in this guy's particular situation I would suggest to get the A+ and Net+ certs.
I got both of those while still in college and they got me an entry level Intern job which in turn helped me get the experience needed...
Eh, I suppose it sounded too good to be true anyways. Does it get any easier if you invest just a little bit of money into it?
I downloaded it and tried it out, found out exactly what you said was true. My main complaint with the game though was that I ran around in the fields for about 10...
Ya, what r00k said, most schools with intelligent Net Admins would already have their switches/routers to automatically shut off a port if it exceeds whatever specifications they desire. At least that's what I did at work...
