Cumulative Test Results - AC DI Included

I have to thank Martin for the awesome graphs! He made 2, one which plots each of the 5 mounts and another which averages all mounts into one final number. Of particular notation is the AquaComputer Double Impact block (Thanks to RickCa1n) which just astounded me with it's sheer performance...

They don't let you out much do they?

    AquaComputer Double Impact Block Testing

Well so far this block looks promising, however my first run must be trashed... The reason I am discarding it is because the ambient temps at the time of testing were about 5C cooler than most of the other tests I've done. I use the water temp to die temp delta so in theory it should not matter...

    GTX Corrosion

Wow you don't know how to read or you don't listen. How about I give you quotes from Swiftech (Gabe and Eric) regarding the top just when the GTX was released. Damn you guys are dense over here. A collection of past Swiftech posts (Gabe and OPPainter) regarding the GTX and corrosion from...

    GTX Corrosion

Let's be fair here. Swiftech touted the aluminum plating as 'military spec' and 'bullet proof' and even went on to say that acrylic would be far more likely to crack as a top than the GTX would be to corrode. NEVER did they once say (or post on their site in the specs) that one MUST use...

    Fuzion Nozzles

No dude, you have no idea what you are talking about. The idea behind bowing and stepping is to concentrate the mount pressure over the die(s) under the IHS and not on the outer support of the IHS itself. The IHS is ~31mm ^2, there is an approximate 2mm ridge that runs round the outer...

    Fuzion Nozzles

The 4.5 nozzle is the one. Should gain you ~3c when used with the gasket to seal the top and the mid plate.

what cpu waterblock? fuzion or apogee gtx?

Umm, best you have a look at the PD graph LOL.

what cpu waterblock? fuzion or apogee gtx?

This is totally incorrect... Fuzion has less restriction than any current block on the market. In a PD test that Petra's did, the Fuzion with the 4.5mm nozzle still had slightly LESS PD than the GTX.

    New DangerDen Blocks

The Fuzion is a tricky beast with nozzles... I discovered this quite on accident. At first, I made my OWN nozzle out of a 1/4" swifech barb... the block performed very well but was too restrictive, the opening was about 4mm or so, here is a pic of the very first nozzle for the fuziion...

    New DangerDen Blocks

Umm, yes. Horizontal access is number of mounts, vertical axis is deltaT (water/CPU)

    New DangerDen Blocks

Actually I came up with the nozzle and the bowing method for the fuzion :)

    Double Impact Block

Uggh, I'm going as fast as I can, testing is a chore. And yes, it is a REAL system I test on. Have made a new discovery however. Some reading plz. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=151781 http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=160566...
