Some want more of a do-all GPU, that might even save you from upgrading your mobo and CPU so often. Just snap in a new GPU with up to 6GB, and your good...

Correct, a 280 can only run in SLI with another 280.
I use mine for dedicated PhysX, and it does a good job. ;)
