Thanks. Just finished it up today. I tried numerous of combination and just couldn't get it to look right. Finally I decided this will do. I don't think it can be done better.
I have tried the Noctua and the Gelid Wind 12 in UV blue. The Gelid delivers more pressure and more CFM than the Noctua. They are both VERY silent. For now I'll stick with the Gelid as it looks better in my case.
I don't think you guys know what I mean. Here is a screenshot of the graph while I was in a game. The clock doesn't reach 655Mhz. It peaks at 648MHz. Why is that?
I have a BFG GTX260 OCX. The clock on the right is displayed at 655 which is correct but on the graph it only goes up to 648 during gaming. Why is that? I'm not overcocking. Everything is at default speeds.
What is the screw size for the Lian-Li boss? The bosses are located on the bottom of the V series to hold the casters on. I think the stealth CD bezels have the same ones.
I'm using Vista on a P5Q Deluxe rig and the SB Live card is installed on an older XP system.
I don't mind the sound on the onboard right now but would like to know if a sound card would be a noticeable difference in music listening and gaming.
Right now I'm using the onboard sound on the ASUS P5Q Deluxe and a set of 4.1 Klipsch speakers. Will a dedicated sound card make a noticeable difference over the onboard sound?
Also how does the onboard sound in the P5Q Deluxe compare to an older SB Live sound card? The reason I'm asking is...
A little OT here but shouldn't the fan speed automatically increase as the GPU temp increases? I tried EVGA Precision just to see how loud it sounds at 100% and I have never noticed my fan reach those speeds. Good ventilation maybe?
Gelid Wing 12 or Noctua if you don't mind the color. I currently have the Noctua on my TRUE black. I also have the Gelid but haven't tested them out.
Noctua Specs:
1300 RPM
19.8 dB
92.3 m3/h (54.3 cfm)
1.68 mmH20
GELID Specs:
1500 RPM
25 dB
109 m3/h (64.3 cfm)
1.925 mmH20
As far as I can tell it's brand new. Honestly I don't even know what to look for even if it was refurbished and I have a sharp eye at determining was is used or new. As a matter of fact it looks better than the original. There are always some light manufacturing and handling scratches that are...
Did BFG by an chance leave a new mobo in the box? ;) Mine also just showed before noon. It came in a FedEx box filled with styrofoam nuts and the card in it's anti-static bag with the bubble bag over it just as they come from the factory. BTW, I was upgraded to the OCX version. Thanks BFG! I...
That's not the login page. You have to go into my Login at the top of the site and enter your username and password. Looks like you just typed in your RMA number under the support link. That is still using the UPS tracking and not the FexEx.
EVGA GTX280/285's are MIA from their site. Don't know why they did that. BFG on the other hand are still rockin'. :D
EDIT: Seems like the 285 is back up.
Is Jeff.Kozlowski Polish? Sounds like a Polish name. ;)
I RMA'd my BFG GTX260 last week to Kahnawake. Brand new card too but it was past the 30 day mark so I couldn't return it to the place of purchase. I'm not too happy right now. I'll probably get something back that is all scuffed up and...
