In the first screen (the one with the M3 that asks to press enter to continue) type "burgerking".
You should get a message that the burger king challenge was unlocked.
Go to the challenge menu to find it and beat it (it's extremely easy) and all uniques will be unlocked for use in the "My...
398kph or 247mph :)
Pitch black murcielago with all unique parts (after burger king challenge).
My best in career mode is ~385kph with the Carrera GT , without any uniques.
I've finished the game quite a while ago , still playing to get 100%.
It seems to me that evading the cops is no problem if they aren't dangerous in the first place.
I take them down to this place:
Very fast route , wide road with few blind spots (for spikes...) and it's very close to...
Just finished the game.
Cool game , but a bit too easy.
Here's my favorite when it comes to looks and sound (it screams like an F1 car).
Front:
And rear , this is it's best side.
Their rockets are the ultimate defence.
They can fill the air with them and there is a great chance you'll hit a rocket instead of the mech itself.
Your rockets probably crash on its rockets , and it has a lot more than you do.
I used the particle gun on the mechs , the RL is only...
Only 3340 with an unlocked 6800?
I get nearly 4k at stock clocks (maximum/unstable = 5.6k).
Either you're doing something wrong (AA/AF? maybe using high quality instead of high performance?) or your card isn't unlocked.
A locked 6800 at stock clocks gets close to 3.5k.
The...
For the 2 games you want , the X800pro will be a LOT faster.
Source is ATI domain , while in BF2 having a 256MB card is a must if you want to use high quality settings (particularly high textures).
It will also be faster in most games (though not with huge differences).
As far as...
There is always a difference between the way an nvidia and ati card render a scene , ANY scene.
I've tried making comparative screenshots many times between my 6800 and X800XTPE and comparing them visually and with the compressonator tool and there are always differences.
Then again , I'm...
Not really sure if I qualify , really.
I had an AthlonXP + nforce2 setup with my MSI 6800.
Then I swithed to A64 + nforce3 (K8N Neo2 Platinum).
My card does NOT stutter at default speeds or at a (relatively) mild overclock.
However , it turned from a MONSTER overclocker to a below average...
Your cpu is the limit , not the vga , that's why you're not seeing a huge difference.
The X800pro would barely notice if you upped the resolution to 1600x1200 (or much higher) with massive amounts of AA and AF.
The X300 would notice...
Vsync tries to synchronize the frame output of your...
I get the same thing on both PCs , spraying in slo-mo = abysmal fps.
Doesn't seem like a bug , more likely some setting needs a little toning down.
It also seems to DEMAND more than 1GB of ram for maximum textures , otherwise i get those corner pauses that everyone seems to get.
Anyway ...
The unlocked 6800 rig got top 2% , the XTPE rig got top 1%.
I would have expected worse from the 6800.
The cpu seems to be a major factor in the evaluation.
I find more than surprising just how many sites report little to no difference between the 6800nu & 6600GT.
I've played around with a couple of 6600GTs and I never had a problem spotting differences.
Particularly with AA/AF , in most games , the 6800 is extremely faster , in the range of...
Stock gpu voltage for a 6800nu is 1.2V.
As far as I know , there is no way to get 1.3V through bios modding , you can get 1.1 , 1.2 , 1.4 , 1.5 .
Frankly , IMHO the difference 20-30mhz on the core will do in real games is negligible , it's mostly about 3Dmark scores.
It's up to you to...
I'm all for insane power and overclocking to hell and back , but you don't need a chilled athlonfx and dual ultras to play doom3.
In fact I've playtested a system almost identical to that (albeit with 1GB ram) and it ran through doom3 like a champ.
One thing you could try is turning off...
I have a zalman nb47j (passive , the blue one) on my northbridge , mounted with cheap white paste , in a closed PC case with zero airflow (a single 5Volted fan + the 2 in the PSU).
It gets hot , really hot , yet it can work stably well beyond 300HTT (currently testing 8x325).
I never tested...
These are the parts of your post that seem more interesting to me.
For me , gaining nothing from lower resolution = cpu limitation.
Which seems reasonable , since you're not using a particularly powerfull cpu.
If you're not comfortable with overclocking the cpu , you could try UNDERclocking...
I have two watercooled PCs (CPU & GPU blocks on both) , one with an unlocked 6800 , one with an X800XTPE.
Both have heavily overclocked/overvolted cpus & overclocked GPUs , both GPUs stay below 40°C at all times.
I don't see how any aircooler would be able to do that.
Better yet , on the 6800...
Your timedemo @ ultra quality seems a bit too high to me.
Make sure that , after you set ultra quality , you go to advanced settings and set the AA level (it resets to OFF when you change quality settings).
I get a very substantial performance hit from using ultra q , something ~40% at the...
Limit?

I can't get the same card clocks in the new rig , but I'm still in the vicinity of 5k.
BTW , I hope you're using forceware 7x.xx drivers , they give a very good boost to 3DMark05 compared to 6x.xx (300-400 points).
5603
Not bad for a vanilla 6800 (440/960).
The lovely thing is that the lower latencies of ddr1 vs ddr3 allow me to directly compete with the GTs and Ultras.
That's from the previous rig , unfortunately I'm having lots of issues ocing the card's ram on the new setup , so it will be a while...
In my opinion , it isn't worth the risk.
I ran my nu @1.4V for a couple of months , now I'm back to 1.2V , losing 20mhz from the core (1.4V = 400 , 1.2V = 380).
Frankly , the difference in real games is below negligible.
If your target is a good benchmark , just give it the 1.5V it deserves...
Same here , except with a 6800nu.
With a socket A system I could get 425/920 stable , 440/960 for benchmarks.
With the Neo2 I couldn't get near the mem speeds and I couldn't overclock the core at all.
In my case , switching off fast writes gave me back my core OC , going back to 66.93 gave...
It will perform just like it would perform in any other rig , that is it will perform great.
You just might have problems with games that are more dependant on the cpu (like those with complex A.I) , due to your 2400+.
I know I got sub-optimal performance with a 2500+@2520 at some games...
It would be helpful if you could give a complete report of your best run.
Each test is affected differently by gpu , cpu and ram.
Something like this (from a test run of mine):
vga @ (16,6) , 400/900
cpu @ 9x277
ram @ 227 , 3-3-3-8-1t
forceware 71.84
result : 24385
GT1 low: 345.4...
Thanks.
I checked the orb and there is only one plain 6800 score above mine , by 79 points (76.10 should be enough to correct this...).
A little tip , that made a real difference for my overclock.
The power regulators on the back of the card (near the power connector) get extremely hot...
You can do a softmod for the GPU voltage ( try this guide : http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=342919 ).
You can get up to 1.5Vgpu (ultra extreme Vgpu).
If you want more Vgpu or some Vddr , you'll have to use a soldering iron.
A couple of notes.
I recommend using nibitor to mod...
MSI NX6800 , unlocked & watercooled
Absolute maximum : 440/960 with 1.5Vgpu
And a 3DMark05 to prove it : http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=555234
Which , I believe , is still amongst the top of the orb for a single , plain (non GE) 6800.
It also gave me a 12400 3DMark03 ...
