I tried to remove it to apply AS5 since it gets extremely hot.......i removed the push pins, but the damn thing was stuck, i did not want to damage my mobo so i eventually just put the pins back in place and forgot about the whole thing......... any ideas how i can remove it? thanks,

i upgraded to office 2007 after i got my new pc, a lot of my work documnets are in word 2003 format which i will not change for a while to assure compatibility....every now and then (like once a day) word 2007 crashes while i'm closing the application (after having one of my documnets open)...

i used to have a 6400. both cores idled at exactly the same temp....i deceided to send the cpu back and went for a 6600....there was a 3 degree difference between the two cores... i thought maybe i have a faulty cpu heat spreader so i sent it back for a replacment, and now my replacement 6600...

i just installed my new rosewill zx3 cooler, now there is a 3 degree differnce between the 2 cores,,,,,, what is that ? :confused:

e6400 stock speed idling at 40-41 on stock intel fan... my case is well ventilated....1 intake at the bottom, 1 side intake parrallel to cpu and one exhaust on the back drawing heat from right above the cpu.... it is the damn intel heatsink and fan, isn't it? rpm is controlled by bios, so...

I had a huge problem during my vista install.... vista installed on the wrong drive (my fault) ....so i need now to recover some of my data.....what would be a good software package for that? question also, once you recover lost harddrive data, will you get it back with its orginal file...

Speed fan reports a couple of temps on my new setup..... one of them is 127 C......holy crap!!!! :eek: there must be something wrong.... my cpu is reported in bios to be running 28c which is great i guess..... it also reports another 8c temp, and calls it core??? that does not make...

My old laptop has a athlon xp-m 1500. the CPU needs to be changed, i found one which has the exact same fsb, speed and family, but it is a 25w cpu instead of 35w. will this be a problem? will my laptop recognize it? the laptop is a HP ZE1200 series.... thanks,
