Graphic card wont activate anu dp audio out through mini dp > hdmi adapter. In any case audio is available through hdmi controller port, meaning only one audio stream.

I can choose audio out in player but I don't get more than one hdmi audio out. It is either Panasonic tv or Onkyo avr. I can't do pc > avr > tv with hdmi cause tv is but avr is not 3D.

Good on paper not in real world. Even with mini dp to hdmi 7770 would only give one audio out. For aditional 6 outputs I must use dp capable device. No chance for my tv or avr. It will be dp for monitor, dvi + analogue for tv and hdmi for avr.

MPC-HC for example can use whatever sound cards is chosen in options menu. I saw AMD's white paper for display and they mention multiple audio outputs via DP 1.2 from the same gpu card but don't know if that can work with adapter in before mention scenario.

Well, STX would be one slot above gpu. First slot on mb, then first pci-e 16 gpu and so on... I noticed that gpu on top is also warm, not hot as series before.

I have Thermaltake Armor Jr case, no side fan for gpu, only above for cpu. I am worried if STX get warmer it could last shorter. Sound cards usually stay in case for years.

I have Asus Xonar Essence STX. Card is always warm and now it has empty slots from both sides. If I get another gpu then STX would be next to something like Sapphire HD7770. It's not warm gpu but do any of them require empty slots for better cooling or it will be just fine? Thx....

I tried Cinebench 11.5 Q9550 scored 3.39 while 3870k on web show 3.59. Performance would be roughly the same, only newer components.

If I can sold my cpu, mb and 4GB DDR2 ram and add as little as 10-20euros for new amd cpu, mb and 8GB DDR3 ram, no OC at all (Q9550 E0 for A8-3870k, Gigabyte X38 DQ6 for Asus F1A75-V PRO) would I get same, better or lower performance?

As I said only reason for upgrade is old for new. STX for Marantz + Monitor Audio/REL & Sennheiser DG for Kenwood pc audio system If both can work together, how can I choose right control panel or I would have two of them in taskbar?

I have STX in my case, using it for stereo system and phones. I also have a pc audio system and my plan is to get Xonar DG for that. Can STX and DG work propery in the same case, cause drivers and control panel are the same or it is ok? Thanks in advance.

You can even get DolbyDigital Live with X-Fi XtremeMusic. Recently DDL was unlocked for them. Search for topic.

Regarding the situation, Z-5500 is the winer. Much better system with much better sound. DTS is another sound format even better then DolbyDigital. Watage shouldn't be your concern. Give more money but it'll last longer, later buy some X-Fi and you'll happy.

Honestly, I see no difference between this two suites. As much as I understand YouP-Pax is released few months ago and that is Creative Vista X-FI Suite only some kind of RC or RTM release. I installed Creative's suite, so far so good.
