Started hearing that Chipotle may have been a victim of corporate sabotage by Monsanto or another megafirm with vested interest in creating public fear of "organic" alternative sourcing of food products. Chipotle was a huge success and a rising star. For them to all of a sudden have this mystery...

Jet.com becomes pretty much worthless after the first purchase. The prices aren't any better than amazon or ebay and they have way less product availability/diversity.
They started out great for like the first couple months...
Be aware there is no singleplayer yet despite what the Steam store page says. The Ars review clarifies that they just sort of hope to get to it at some point.
Meh.
The product page shows it at $299 but when you add it to cart it's actually $329. Weird.
Also, VCO2015BTS has expired.
So it's $329.99 plus a $20 MIR, plus $4 shipping. Meh.
Dead is either dead or never existed.
If it was actually $275 + $4 shipping, I would have gotten it.
edit: And now...
Booo. Always separate drives. OS/boot drive and separate drive for Steam/games installs. My OS drive is usually a 256GB SSD, though I might step up to a 500GB one next time around. Games SSD is 500GB now, maybe 1TB next time around. Then the rest of the data and media gets stored on a higher...
That one's only on newegg, though. Amazon's price is $100 higher. I have a bunch of gift card balance with amazon, so I'll be buying my next GPU there but not until their price is as good as newegg's on that 290X.
update: Also reportedly has a crappy cooler, so don't get this unless you're...
Also, AMD's drivers will generally be rock solid while NVidia's tend to be more crashy. I haven't had a game CTD in close to decade due to AMD GPU drivers, where as NVidia drivers tend to be less stable. It's enough to make me second-guess getting a 980Ti after enjoying such consistent driver...
fwiw, if you have a Microcenter within 25 miles of the Best Buy you go to, and that Microcenter has it in stock, they will pricematch it. Anything else is basically cashier error/ignorance. I confirmed at my local Best Buy this morning.

Curious if that's a decent price for a 980Ti and whether there are any issues with the Zotac cards? Coil whine? High temps?
I remember going to the local computer shop hole-in-the-wall and seeing boxes for video cards from Matrox, S3 Virge, Diamond, 3Dlabs, 3dfx Voodoo, Trident, Hauppauge, etc. Those were the days... the days of LAN parties, 3D acceleration being a huge deal, pixels, voxels, texels, mip mapping, and...
At the current price and with its current featureset (4GB VRAM, no HDMI 2.0), I'm inclined to agree. The moment it drops to $550, I think we have a very different scenario and it becomes a real alternative to spending $100 more for a 980Ti. That said, hopefully NVidia would knock at least $50...
I'd tend to agree. The most logical reason why the air-cooled model is delayed is they want the process to mature a bit first so they can bin cooler-running chips for the air-cooled model so it doesn't throttle itself too much during gaming.
The 4GB VRAM tied with the $650 pricetag, the missing...
Amazon is matching. I just picked up a second one after enjoying this one the past few months. Excellent 60Hz display. Can't beat the price for a great 1920x1200 display.
I hope these force WD prices to drop soon on their 5 & 6TB drives. The Reds are expensive and considering the quality issues reported with the 6TB model, I've been holding off. But my current drives are full, so I'm just waiting for the day the prices drop to pick some up. =\
Another firmware fix is coming from Samsung for the 840 issue

Just fyi.
That's why I haven't replaced my 7970. The GTX-970 is the right price. $300 is the most I'd generally pay for a GPU for gaming. So I skip a generation or two in between upgrades if necessary.
It's definitely been worth waiting out the overpriced AMD 2x0 series, especially seeing what NVidia's...
Just so everyone knows: It's not a widespread issue in most cases, and they have confirmed a firmware fix is on the way.

Fwiw, I've used multiple 840 Evos since shortly after their release...
