I got it off the steam forum, worked for me. (Reupped it myself)
On release day the game (for me) was about 3/10 on the playability scale. As of today, I would rate it a 8/10. It is perfectly playable, with only minor stuttering and a few issues with the server browser and game menu.
*It looks like the recovery CD messed up my install now. it says i am using Build 7600 RTM and that it is not genuine. This isn't true, I am using a legit install. Could this be because the other entry in the MBR was this and it restored incorrectly?
