Looking to see if anyone has a cheap 1TB NVME drive they want to get rid of before I make a trip to Microcenter. I'm just looking for one to stick in an enclosure to use as an external drive for moving pictures between my laptop and desktop since my old one died.
I'm looking for a faster upgrade than my Dell 3390 with an i5 8250u for Lightroom and Photoshop. I'd prefer something with a discrete GPU as well. My current laptop just drags with 45mp RAW files. Let me know what you've got!
Thanks!
At my photography studio I evidently have some dirty power problems. I've tried connecting 3 different PCs to different circuits and they all freeze and eventually blue screen when a load is put on the processor. Two of the computers I've used at my house and have had zero issues there, so I'm...
I just built a new i7 13700K system with an ASUS Tuf Gaming z690 motherboard and my RAM won't run anywhere close to its rated speed.
The RAM is Kingston Fury Beast 5200 RAM that a friend gave me and I'm using 4x16GB.
Is the RAM just bad or is it because I'm using all 4 slots?
I've tried...
I'm selling what's left of my old system after upgrading it.
Parts include an Intel i7 9700K, ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (WI-FI AC) Motherboard, 4x16GB G.Skill Trident-Z DDR4 3733 RAM, and the cooler is a Fractal Design Celsius S24 240mm AIO.
Not interested in shipping since I've left everything...
I'm in the middle of getting parts to upgrade my current i7 9700k system. I'd love to reuse my current case and cooler, a Fractal Design Celsius S24. If I got a bigger radiator I'd also have to buy a different case, which I'm trying to avoid.
I don't really plan to do much overclocking. Maybe...
I'm looking for a cheap laptop to replace one that my friend dropped and killed. She's mainly going to use it for web browsing and very light photo editing.
Preferably looking for something with a SSD, even a small one like 128GB and 8GB of RAM, although 4GB is okay as long as it's user...
Hey, so I'm finally upgrading my editing PC which is a i7 2600k. It's pretty much only going to be used for Photoshop and Lightroom.
That said, I'm looking at either the i5 8400 or i7 8700 non-k. I'm really not interested in overclocking this one. But going to 6 cores will be nice. Does...
What brands/models do you guys prefer for backpack style camera bags. I've outgrown my current KATA 3N1-30 sling bag and need something bigger.
I need it to be able to hold a gripped body with a 70-200 f/2.8 attached to it as well as a 2nd body and 5-6 lenses (17-40, 24-70, 35, 50, 85, and...
Does anyone here use the Canon 28mm f1.8 lens? I'm looking for an affordable yet fast wide angle for shooting bands in small clubs and wanted to get some people's thoughts on it.
It'll most likely be used with a full frame 6D or 5Dmk3 once I decide to actually spend the money on one as I'm...
I'm building my parents a new PC for Christmas. Their old P4 system is getting pretty slow.
I don't really have a budget but I don't want to spend enough to build a new gaming PC. Except for higher end hardware I haven't really paid any attention to what's out there lately. I don't really...
So, I got a nice friendly chat today and I don't think I've seen this posted here yet. I know none of the [H] readers will fall for this, but you might wanna let friends or family members know that their accounts won't be disconnected in a current of 5 hours if they don't click on the link. :D...
So, my PSU blew up last week. I finally got a new one and installed it, but I have no video or POST when I start my computer now.
I checked the mobo over and it looks like there's a chip with a line of black dots running across it. Also the fan on my GTX 260 doesn't start to run...
My PSU decided to go up in smoke yesterday and I'm looking for a new one for the i7 system in my sig. I'm also thinking about throwing in a second GTX 260 (they're both 65nm models).
Would the Corsair 750TX be enough to handle 2 GPU's? Or is that overkill? Or not enough? I can get a...
