So I also just got one of these... I'm not really happy with it. It's definitely blue compared to my Westinghouse l2410nm.
Should I send this one back or is this how they all are? I don't see any yellow tint, its just all blue..
that's notepad spanning across both monitors
It's personal preference. I personally can't stand mouse acceleration but many good players use it.
It does take a few days to get used to. You could try turning the mouse speed down a little, 1800DPI can be quite fast.
You could change it with some other software but doesn't make any difference on a diamondback anyways.
It's probably more precise because of the way acceleration works. When you move a small amount with acceleration on, the mouse moves very very slowly. However, when you move that same amount...
Anyone downloading or uploading the same torrent as you can see your IP even if you encrypt it. The RIAA will see you, tell Verizon and then Verizon will send you the letter.
The article is talking about technology in general, not just texting. Either way, most people don't talk in "text speak" anymore since it's impractical with T9.
I've never heard of a rebate where you don't have to send in the UPC... or a RMA that needs the packaging.
If you've already tried contacting gigabyte then file a complaint with the BBB. I had trouble with an Antec rebate earlier this year and got the rebate a week after I notified the BBB.
That freezer 7 pro used to go for around $20 thats probably why it got so much attention. I have one in my p180 mini right now but for $30 you could do much better. I'd go with a Xigmatek or this sunbeam because it's on sale right now...
My P5Q-Pro didn't come sealed at all, and I had an EVGA board with that white stuff on it. I don't know what it is but it works fine.
Sucks though, it sounds like you have a faulty motherboard. :(
I think it's mainly just the IBM designed lenovos that use trackpoints since the Ideapad line doesn't have one. Having no trackpoint was a dealkiller on the S10 for me also, I can't stand using a touch pad after having a X61.
AFAIK you can't. I noticed that this morning when I was putting together my P180 mini. You could use 5.25 to 3.5 adapters but the drives would get no airflow.
I'd say the DuOrb is the best out of those but I can't really rank them. The Gemini II is more of a motherboard cooler than a CPU cooler.
IIRC according to maximumpc the DuOrb was the best they have reviewed but they haven't reviewed any of the real top coolers...
I would get Artic Cooling MX-2 from yesbuy for $7 shipped unless you can get the AC7 for $20 shipped. Newegg shipping for TIM is a rippoff. Yesbuy just has slow shipping...

They also have AS5 but MX-2 generally performs better...
I'd go with either the zalman NC1000 or the NC2000 depending on the size of your laptop but the NZXT is good also. Heres a good thread about laptop coolers.

I used MC14 ramsinks on my 650i and it worked fine. You may have to cut a few of them in half though.
Heres some pics of what someone else did to a 680i.
