I'm using two Asus VE247 monitors with dvi/hdmi output. I bought a pack of dvi to dp adapters to hook them to my 2080 super. I have two left sitting in the closet I need to make disappear. My primary monitor is a viewsonic 2401 and uses dp with no adapters.
This past week I was having stability issues where all three monitors would just turn off and disconnect. I've narrowed it down to being caused by using one power cable on both the 6 and 8 pin of the card. I added another cable from the psu to the card and it has seemed to stop the issues...
GPU temps are doing well but I'm underwhelmed by the CPU results. Part of the temp spikes are the vcore voltage changes when the computer is under load to get 4.2 ghz.
CPU and GPU usually stay between 60-65C and it is pretty quiet.
Things that made me a bit uncomfortable:

I recently upgraded my system and had the challenge of using a closed loop on my cpu and gpu.

I'm looking for options on a something budget friendly with a few specific specifications.

I purchased an EVGA 2070 Super XC Ultra Gaming Tri-Slot card. $530 new. It had good reviews and the cooler works well...
I'm looking at buying a 2070 super with a thick heatsink to keep temps and fans down. My case is pretty small but will have plenty of air flow with pwm controlled fans. Thanks for all your input.

Actually thinking about going with either EVGA 2060 Super XC Ultra Gaming (3 slots) or the 2070 of the same card. It's 80-100 more for the 2070 version of the card. Cooler temps, less noise.
My Video Card History

Would you recommend I try to push it for a hundred more for the 2070 super or am I spending too much on a 2060 super when a...
TP-Link Archer C8 Router AC1750
Excellent shape, just not needed anymore. The reason I loved this router is it had built in QoS controls to limit not only downloads but also uploads. A great feature when your upload limit is under 5mb and someone is saturating your connection...
I sold my SLI'd 570s on eBay about a month ago and bought a GTX 780. Good stuff! Sold the 570's for 170 each and a 580 for 150 to a member here. Pretty much paid for the 780. eBay fees and shipping costs set me back about 50-60 bucks.
Your 295 is pretty much at the same level as a 570. I would personally skip the 4gb 770 and go for a standard 770 2gb card because a 770 really isn't going to use 4gb of memory. I had the 570 2.5gb cards and the performance was pretty much the same as the 1.2 gb card.
You need to get your...

Update - I had buyers back out of their bid on eBay so I almost broke even after selling the cards again. Not even close to the cash I needed for a ti.
I did a little OC on the 780 and reached 9590 points.

No overclocking on 5xx and 780 - 6300 to 8960
Sold two 570s and one 580 and actually made a small amount of cash.
:D
Price point: I averaged the selling point on ebay over the last month and subtracted 10 percent for ebay fees for my price point. If these numbers seem out of line please private message me with a more reasonable number and why it should be lower.

I know I know - The scaling gets worse as you add cards but I'm curious if adding a third 570 would benefit much on a 5760 x 1080 for BF4 to help with eye candy. The two cards I have are 2.5gb each so adding another 2.5 would be the only way I would consider it. Current power supply is corsair...
Found a trail of fluid leak down my pcie slots. Removed board and battery, swabbed with alcohol and reinstalled mobo two days later. Seems that I have resurrected my nf200 chip. I have four pcie 8/8 or 16/0 for top two 8/8 or 16/0 for the bottom two - the fourth pcie slot cannot use a dual...
However incorrect I use the terminology pcix for express as true pcix are dated back to the agp days.
I have 1 PCIe x16 slot, 1 PCIe x1 slot, 1 Conventional PCI slot.
There has been a problem as when I use my third PCIe 16x slot by itself it is fine but if I plug another card in the top...
I think I have my third PCIX slot working. Its a 16x slot so I want to run 16x, 16x on two of my PCIX slots using the nf200 chip on my mobo. I'll run the third card at 1x probably if a pcix.
Either works I have both pci and pcix available.

I can play on one monitor just fine. My two side monitors go blank when I run a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and can max many settings with playable frames. I just like having the side views which add a FOV advantage.
Thanks for the input on the upgrade. I'll probably ride out these cards...
I was thinking about moving to the 700 series from my cards but for the cost I really can't see how I can justify the move. The performance of a single GTX 770 is slightly slower than the GTX 570 SLI but the cost is the issue.
I'm thinking I could get around $250 for both 570's but that only...
I had an issue with a water block hitting the motherboards heat sinks. I took a skill saw with a grinder blade and etched a few notches in the mounting plate for the block. Worked like a champ. Incredibly stupid but it worked.
