Is there anything even close to Cisco WCS when it comes to wireless IDS/IPS solutions? I'm looking for something I can use for home based traffic monitoring and attack reporting.
I may have been spoiled by the tools I've used at work... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My employer has assigned me with the task of picking our new hardware demo laptops. The requirements are:

I'm having a script die on a cisco wireless device when the prompt changes to:
Are you sure you wish to start? (y/n)
Yes, i've tried just printing a Y to the session. Didn't work.
I need a regular expression that matches the whole string.
Anybody good enough to write me a regex...
We've got two controllers that are part of the same mobility group and on the same VLANs.
Will one monitor mode AP do MAC checking for both the controllers?
Last week was a nightmare. We had a consultant that was there to basically call TAC and regurgitate their solutions.
Problem one: Older APs do not like to give up their autonomy. The cert generation process gets the date stamps wrong unless you take the UTC offset out of WCS and lie about...
Needs an Intel chipset, stable high-FSB support, good VRM, solid caps, vista stable audio, and a single PCIE 16x slot.

Who has got the best guide for unattended windows installs for XP? The resource kit has about thirty different ways but most of them are intended for quick deployment of massive quantities of systems.
I just want to get the patches/hotfixes/service packs/updates slipstreamed and all my...
Hi folks,
Like many of you, Im planning a system build within the next month or so. Watching the way things are developing on the conroe front, Im noticing a wide disparity on OCs that seems to have little to do with CPU voltage/temps/stepping/ram/bios or any of the other more common...
Rather than resurrect an ancient thread, I figured I would start a new one. The original thread had a budget of $1500 and you helpful folks actually got me a pretty usable setup at that price. The only problem was that as soon as I got it together a friend offered me an ungodly amount of money...

Im looking for a good clean 150 Watt amp that is 19 rack mountable. Dolby is ok but not necessary. Preferably with at least two inputs and a headphone selectable output.
Does not need to be an audiophile setup as it will just be used for games and MP3s.
Any input would be appreciated. TIA
Updated hardware requirements for CCIE lab exam have pretty much changed across the board as of Jan 1. The new routers are going to be running 12.4 T line with enterprise services. What this means as far as hardware requirements is that the 2500 series routers are dead except for backbone and...
I ran into this problem when attempting to install the Cisco VPN client on several of our more decrepit laptops. - The vpn client hijacks the connectoid for LAN1 instead of creating a new one for the VPN adaptor.
When attempting to uninstall the NIC from device manager I get the error: "This...
