I reinstalled UT2K4 and installed the 3236 patch instead of the 3270 and I am not having the texture problems so I think it was either the latest patch or the combo of it and the current ATI drivers.

I put an Arctic Cool Copper Silent 2L on my 8RDA with an Athlon 2600+ and used Arctic Silver5 as I figured that would be the best thermal compound for it. However, the Arctic Cooling web site staes this:

Same problem here and I don't have SP2 either. I am trying to remeber if it started after I installed the last UT2K4 patch but I know it's not a DX9.0c problem because I still have b.
I will probably reinstall UT2K4 and see what happens but I think the patch might be the culprit. Have you...
The eVGA 6800NU that I just got said it requires a 350 watt or higher PSU. Of course, it also depends on the brand too as there are a lot of crappy PSU's that don't truly put out the power they claim.

I read the review of the Asus V9999 Ge on Got Apex today and it seems like a great card. How long have you had it?
Since I still have two Athlon XP's, I liked reading the conclusion which states:

I have an Athlon XP 3000+, 1 GB Corsair XMS PC3200, MSI RX9800PRO-TD128, Dell 2001FP, and have been wondering if I would notice a significant improvement with a vanilla 6800 myself.

I am waiting for my third 2001FP because of these two problems. If the third time is not a charm then I may just get a refund. They have been easy to work with as far as returning them though.
What really sucks is that the two we already have at work, one of which is mine, do not have any...
I have one at work as so does a coworker so we both ordered them for home as well. The ones we have at work are refurbs and work well except I cannot get mine to run with the DVI, even trying the fix that Dell came up with for Geforce cards, mine being an Asus 5900XT.
The first monitor that...
