Just checking you tried to delete it with the quotes and space in command prompt and not in PowerShell? I vaguely recall I couldn't delete the invalid files in PowerShell for whatever reason. Can also try del /s on the \\?\ path.
Can try the \\?\ path syntax again but put it in quotes. Then try adding a space at the end of the filename, or maybe even a couple spaces. I've had invalid files with spaces at the end, and just like you, I could create new files with the same apparent name.
Been trying a 360 for a little while now and so far I'm finding it handy while traveling. Ironically, I use it with a selfie stick to avoid being in the pictures. Not the greatest quality, but better than nothing.
Just an FYI... the Benefit Administrator can see the name, email address, product ordered, date, and city it was shipped to. Not that I've ever heard of anyone getting in trouble (or even caring), but your company/school/organization can easily determine non-legit orders if they really wanted to.
List of MSDNAA schools
If I recall, they're perpetual licenses, restricted to non-commercial use. Generally free to download, with a possible charge if you want the physical media.
I believe these are a few to start with:
%userprofile%\appdata\roaming\adobe\dreamweaver cs5
(or "%userprofile%\application data\adobe\dreamweaver cs5" under xp)
HKCU\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5
HKCU\Software\Adobe\Common\11\Sites
Yeah sorry about that, I didn't catch that factory/reseal. Like everyone said, reseal and mini is what we used.
Sad that I can remember having to use /pss for a Windows 98 sysprep, but couldn't recall our XP sysprep parameters.
Been way too many years since we had this happen, can't recall why. Is it properly removing your Sysprep folder too? Perhaps it was something that caused Sysprep to error out before completing. Anything odd in the setup*.log files?
Also, using the SP3 version of the Deployment Tools...
Generally in these situations, is it possible to connect to a workplace via VPN before the login? Or if the logon ports aren't blocked by a firewall, is it possible to hardcode the IP addresses of the DC DNS lookups into the hosts file? Not recommended I'm sure, but just curious if that would...
Picked up a sealed copy of VC for $30, plus sealed GH:Aerosmith + wired 360 guitar for $10. Didn't think I'd enjoy VC a whole lot since I prefer standard JRPGs over strategy games like Advance Wars and Shining Force. But it's been fun through several chapters so far.
I've been dinged with those holds too. Gave up trying to use them in person because it became too much of a pain to be denied and guessing how much I could actually use. Now I just buy Amazon GCs at $25 increments to squeeze it all out. Using the cards right away avoids the dormancy fees, and...
I can't remember why, but I wasn't able to squeeze mine to a 4GB drive. Might've just been that I didn't want to redownload my Rock Band DLC. Ended up using an iPod.
Another alternative is the BFGEGTX260MC896OCBE w/ Mirror's Edge coupon at Amazon for $187.39 - $20MIR, especially if you have Prime shipping and/or Amazon GCs to use.
It looks like it was the EFF that forced Apple to comment. Don't see what other choices Apple had in the matter.
If nothing else, I would expect that the distribution of modified firmware, as some packages might have, would be questionable legally.
For me, Rock Band SE was worth pre-ordering from Gamestop. Didn't have to drive around looking for one and they had the 10% off coupon email, making it one of the cheaper B&Ms. Had to preorder due to all the chatter that there wasn't enough hardware available at launch.
Well, it no longer appears to qualify for the free Far Cry 2. Maybe that helps lower vendors' costs from EVGA a smidge on the 260 and 280? Grasping at straws here :p
If you have important files, consider a raw clone first to prevent further damage to them. As mentioned, you could try to slave it to pull files and then wipe clean.
Or boot into a Vista or 2008 based Windows PE to try to copy the files off over the network or to another drive. Then use...
Got the same Ship Confirmation email with the mobo. Called and was told that they're requesting UPS Delivery Intercept returns, so at least we won't have to worry about returning it. They said they've already received a bunch of calls about it.
