Been watching this develop all day... hilarious twists when the DB changes his twitter handle to avoid the raging masses, and some kid scoops it up for the lulz, as it were.
Best part: the old twitter account is still scrolling in realtime on the Ocean Mktg blog, which of course has started...
Somebody needs to verify that the Corsair HS1 Gaming Headset will work/play in Crysis during a rainstorm, at night, in North Carolina, with a kid crying in the other room.
That Somebody is me.
Still running an Athalon XP on an AV8 socket939 board, frankenstein rig as my part-time file server. That chip is still rock-stable at stock speeds, and well worth the double* OEM pricetag.

I really think Haste deserves a special forum title for this one, like "Masterbaker" or somethin... Always a good laugh when I visit this thread and see who has recently whipped up a batch of toasty oven pcb goodness.
Also, post up your oven specs, guys, seriously (and if ur oven can play...

Once a few years ago I went into a RadioShack to find a cellphone adapter I could order online for $7 shipped... didnt want to wait 10 days for shipping because the battery was dying. The kid behind the counter tried to sell me his own personal used phone charger (same phone as mine) for $20...
On 02-22-09 a District 2 patrol unit recovered a Mossburg 12-gauge shotgun concealed within a Super Soaker (water gun). The water gun was taken apart and altered allowing the shotgun to be encased within the water gun, and to remain fully functional.

Personally, I only do DVD's and from...
Guys, can you please start posting specs on your ovens? I'm not sure if my current machine will bake Crysis...
Also, if I pop my old stupid compaq desktop from 2001 in there at 385f, will it stop being a piece of sh*t after 10 minutes?
Thanks.

Just installed my Kuma with stock HSF on a M4A78 Pro and getting 49c - 51c at idle in BIOS. It's been 5 years since my last build (A64 3500+ on an AV8), so there's a chance I've installed the heatsink wrong. Gonna reapply AS5 and try again. Any advice in the meantime?

I'm 28 with a 2yr old daughter and she loves to watch me play Prince of Persia, DC, BF:V, whatever. Only recently she has started to get very concerned each time I "die" (more often than I should  ), so I may have to curb her...
1. Once upon a time Tom's Hardware was a legit source of information on building myself a computer for at least $1500 less than retail so my wife would'nt get all mad and stop cooking for me and stuff. Then Tom went down the road to stupidville.

I found the flash video on Zalman's website to be quite helpful in installing mine. I used the AV8 backplate from Abit, only odd thing was I had to flip it upside down to get the 'nipples' (only one set, retail) to screw in securely.
May have to remove and reinstall mine today tho, as I am...
Guys,
Thanks for this thread, and keep up the good info; my question:
