Hey all.
I need to upgrade our current AP which is a Linksys WRT54GX. It's woefully inadequate at delivering a consistent signal through our building. I suspect that the construction of the facility has something to do with it, but besides that, the WRT is constantly timing out and dropping...
Just be careful, though, because if you do decide to opt for higher RPMs then make sure not to grab SCSI stuff just because it is 10k or 15k. Many of the older ones will be far slower than modern SATA drives, regardless of the spindle speed.
Quite a few from what I've read. Sandisk, SuperTalent, and Samsung immediately come to mind but I'm sure there are more. I will look up that specific one you mentioned, though. Perhaps it is the one I'm looking for.

I'm really liking this laptop (who wouldn't) but I kinda want to know which SSD goes in there and what its specs are before I opt for such a pricey option.

I've tried it on (4x)15k.5s in RAID 0 with my C2Q at 3.2 and its STILL slow, lol. I really just think the software isn't fully optimized for modern hardware. There hasn't been an update to it for years.
