I don't have all the info to put into the spreadsheet yet, as I am not home to unmount my cooler to get the numbers, but I will post here to give you a heads up about my OC.

I am running a Sempron 3000+ Palermo on an Asus K8N-E Deluxe. The FSB max on this board is 300MHz, so that limited my OC to 2.7 GHz. I was able to accomplish this with a voltage setting of 1.675 in the bios, but it must be noted that there is something very screwy about the voltage on this board. Any setting from 1.55-1.65 (and possibly others) gives a voltage in Asus Probe of 1.536. 1.675 is the first to give anything higher, and it jumps to ~1.62, quite odd.

My temps on the stock cooler, with no case (just bare motherboard sitting on desk) are 31-33C (depending on ambient temp) idle and 52C at full load running Prime 95. The machine is stable with roughly 20 hours of Prime95 torture test.

Let's hope some more Sempron OCers post their findings here. I am thinking that it would be more likely to happen if a duplicate of this thread was created and dedicated to either only Semprons or s754 chips overall. We know the 754 guys sure have pride! :D

EDIT: Here are the numbers from my Sempron:

Max Stable Overclock: 2704 MHZ
Voltage used: 1.49 volts
Air cooling

I have two prime95 setups (one for each CPU), prime95 stable for 24 hours. (I like rock solid stability,,,call me crazy!)
I'm thinking I can get this thing faster, so its an Unfinished overclock (I'm just having fun with it right now!).

A little more info for the database:

Max Suicide - 2860 at 1.72v

running 24/7 now at:

311 x 9 (2799) @ 1.35 x 123% (1.66v)

All watercooled - naked. (No IHS- ;) ) max load temp = 50c

Everest and PC Wizard both show this CPU as a Toledo-512 not a Manchester.

time to update, eclipse, i need it updated,

anyway, i got another for you

Some amazing new 144 steppings lately it looks like.

I just received my monarch 144 order. I bought 3 oem cpus.

The stepping is CACJE 0602GPMW on all 3.

On my first try, the first cpu I tried does 2.7ghz ON STOCK VOLTS with the stock AMD copper heatpipe sink.

Amazing. Still priming, but no failures yet! Tempted to try 2.8ghz next on stock volts lol. This thing must be capable of 3ghz or so with more voltage.

Wow, I had no idea I could get this fast of an overclock, the memory is real slow right now, but the CPU of course is tearing ass like no tomorrow, probably not a good idea to leave it on at this speed with just water. Pushing 40C with a heavy load on the CPU.

More voltage will not help the 170 due any better, probably the motherboard.
The 144 will load windows at 323 x 9 (2900) but I cant get it prime95 stable at any voltage above 2800 mhz, so they both stay at stock voltages.

Max. stable overclock is 2.7ghz (Prime 24 hours) at 1.45 vcore (1.47 BIOS).
Cooled by XP90 with 57cfm fan.

Just got a Opteron 144 with the same stepping you have.

I am Priming @ 2.8ghz, stock voltage 1.4v (CPU-Z reports 1.392v) as I am typing this. It has been priming for two hours and going strong.

BTW, I use the stock 4-heatpipe HS with fan speed @ 2000 rmp. Temp is at 48c.

Look like I may have to sell my Opty 165. :D

Finally finished putting my computer back together. Here is what I got.

OSA146DAA5BN
CAB2E 0604EPAW
Max stable overclock so far is 2.85Ghz
Overclock is at stock volts (1.4v, 1.38 in MBM)
Cooled by Zalman CNPS9500

I was able to get it to 2.9 on stock, but weird stuff started happening and I backed it off. I may try raising the core voltage to get more, but I am pretty happy with what I have now.

After much researching and testing finally got my final OC. All statistics and benchmark results can be found here

ok, I got a new opty 175 today.
CCBWE 0550UPMW

so far so good... except for the fact that the IHS was not flat.. I had to lap that sucker.. and I am seriously considering removing it soon.. it was really sticking up on all the edges... the middle of the core part didn't touch the sink bottom until I lapped it. Anyways...

after lapping, the chip idled at 27c 2.2ghz with 1.29 vcore! the new denmark cores are that lovely lower power version of the toledo. So I was able to hold 1.29v until 2.52ghz... I got a little impatient after that and pushed the vcore to 1.375v and am now dual priming there at 2.61ghz... FX60 speeds under 1.4 vcore.. not bad. Anyways.. the AS5 I put on was my new tube and it was pretty "wet" (as far as AS5 goes) so I want to let it set before I go too much further... load temps are around 39c. so I am going chill here for the night.. I'll snap off a screen shot in the AM and post it here. :)

pretty sure i'm maxed on this ram now. I am very very suprised at how well this ram held up. I might try putting in my ocz micron and see how well it does.

This paticular board has no vcore or vdimm adjustment that I see. Does have a decent memory timing section. go go sempron

EDITED:

Well tried my ocz micron and didnt make it anywhere near 2584 stable. Hopefully thats just an indication of how crappy this mb is. So lets stick with 2584 as max oc on this config.

Check my puters webpage for complete details.

I could not get it compleatly error free on Core 0 with anything higher than this speed and 1.525v.
I left it at this speed for stability and cooler temps. Core 0 is a poor OC'er on my chip.

Core 0 seems to be the one which takes most of the extra system level operations while dual priming, so it will be the one to fail on most systems.. or so I am thinking, after seeing all these posts with "core 0 bombs out at so and so mhz"... I am guessing that's wwindows XP not being a true SMP environment, so maybe it's going to core0 for most system level operations rather than round-robin'ing the tasks equally to core1 also... I noticed that core0 was behind in calculating prime in my 21 hour dual prime session, by like 20 seconds.. core1 was ahead by a fair margin when I stopped.. I ran nother one and core0 lagged again.. so it must get stuck with system level tasks, or tasks which have no cpu affinity, and default to core0 always.. maybe? it's a theory.. :)

Just got an Opteron 146.... is this stepping any good? It is not in the table:

I have a 144 CACJE 0602gpmw that does 2.83ghz @ stock 1.4v. I read it somewhere that the cacje has a cold bug at as high as 10c. That's only a problem if you do chill water or phase.
