Digital Viper-X- said:...if you change the last voltage(says its vddci) and lower it to 1.35, you wont be able to push your memory even to 800mhz, It took me a few reboots to figure it out =) i left it at default 2D of 1.486 and got 850 out of my ram, i changed my vcore to 1.475 and left mem at stock ran it at 720/850 stock cooling

2400 Mhz Clawhammer, havent tried overclocking yet.bobrownik said:right now i get 12144 with the card @ 690/800
so 10600 @ 725/775 seems kind of weird
whats your cpu speed and ram speed?

L1ght said:Okay... an update on my overclocking venture. I maxed out the gpu core volts, and hit 765Mhz with no artififacts, sorry, no 3dmark run yet. At 770Mhz it crashed.
Voltage regulators got up to 96c according to ati tool. I have ramsinks on them....
Temps were still 45c load at those speeds.
Havent tried to overclock ram yet, I think it runs at 800Mhz no problem. Gotta modify the rest of my ramsinks to fit on the 3 peices of ram under the water block barbs.
3dmark 05 was at 10,600 at 725/775. No pics yet... They will come after I find max on ram.
I am very happy with these results so far. Should I be?
Thanks. Im trying to overclock my cpu now, so as soon as I find the max Ill run 3dmark and post a screen shot here.toymachineman19 said:
Whatever you do, dont get 1/2 ID tubing, that stuff is hell to bend. Go 3/8 ID 1/2 OD.Jodiuh said:Is it kinda like widescreen? Cause I just made that switch and I'm in love! Would you recommend a good starter water kit? I'm currently using a ninja to cool the cpu with a low cfm fan. Also, my case is the stacker 810. Thanks!
Damn! We're OT, lol!

ChrisUK said:My Sapphire X1900 XT I thought would run XTX speeds no problem. I gave up with CCC overdrive as it takes an age to auto clock itself (maybe try again later). I dived straight in and set the 3D clocks to 650 / 1550 no problem. I ran COD2 and within a minute or so the artifacts showed up all over the place so I reset the clocks to default XT again. All the time the card has been using the default fan settings.
What I dont want is the fan at 100% all of the time.
Is there any way to overclock the 3D clocks to XTX speed and still have the fan at a reasonable volume? Surely the XTX's dont run at 100% fan speed at default clocks?
When I run COD2 I just get the odd change in fan speed (hear the fan noise increasing and decreasing all the time. Is this the same with the default XTX clocks or is the fan whirring away at 100% during this game?
Also, I was thinking of flashing by XT BIOS to XTX. I would like to know if the BIOS holds the relevent GPU and MEM voltages etc?
Any help appreciated.
