    the new GTX 285 is using only 2x6 pins power connector, watts usage has go down a lot....less heat... it should be silent.... I want one :)

    Considering i7

    Go I7 all the way dude !!! Right now I run my rig with a 525watts Enermax Modu82+ and the fan speed is only 580rpm and totally silent....I had the same fan speed for my previous Core 2 rig so I assume it's not asking too much to my PSU.

    You should overclock to 3.2ghz @ 1.24 volts with turbo it will be @ 3.36.... Your temp will go down dramatically. It's useless to go to 3.8ghz... Performance difference is marginal in real life but temp difference is huge.

    How do you correct this or it's a Vista bug ? Core I7 920 @ 3.2ghz but only display 2.67ghz ? Is my QPI LINK speed too fast or it's safe ?

    Absolutely no difference in benchmark vs old Patriot kit.... so buying this faster kit and pay more for no improvement at all....what a scam ! Well see the result here... (the 4 should read a 9 ) btw these are my benchmarks.

    triple channel kit often show only 4gb instead of 6gb. I could said the problem happen especially when I do a reset or go in the bios and exit, then it will reboot and the MB will detect only 4gb instead of 6gb. If you go in the bios or boot to Vista x64, it will show only 4gb. I...

    hi.... I just installed my new setup last friday, I didn't do a fresh install but only install the chipset drivers. Well my PCI X-Fi soundcard didn't work anymore so I remove it and use the one onboard for now... but after a few days AVG is now giving me an error message at boot...
