Ive been using a third party game pad by nyko and it works...for the most part, the directional pad doesnt register when i set it up in the menu, but i figured it was because its sat around for a while and became broke. But if BC2 is known to not support joysticks thats probably why...
Either...
Ive become addicted to this game, and they mouse and keyboard just arent cutting it for my heli flights. Do you guys have any recommendations for a good joystick?
I hear ya there, i got a TV stand and a nice bed side table from in front of that guys house...the only thing missing from the desk was a shelf and they keyboard tray dosent slide right. But since it was free who gives a damn.
You can never go wrong with any of Valve's games, L4D or L4D2, Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike Source, Half Life 2, Half Life Deathmatch, i especially recommend Team Fortress 2, great action and the game itself makes me giggle.
Also battlefield bad company 2 (and Vietnam), most of the COD...

It all comes down to the fact that people need to have constant attention in one form or another, whether it be via text message or somebody liking one of their billion facebook statuses.
i was giggling the entire time i read this. how do you think those "zippy" gadgets like the ipad and blackberry get made....sure as hell isnt with another ipad.
My CPU temps have become pretty high with the recent case switch....so i've looking into a different CPU cooler, when i came across the CORSAIR CWCH50-1. Its an interesting concept as far as a closed CPU water cooling kit goes, but i'm wondering if anybody has one or has any experience with them...
Oh yah, AA and the CoD franchise are pretty much polar opposites. AA you actually have to know what your doing and have skill in the game, and in CoD you can mostly get by on dumb luck and killstreaks. Itll just take some getting used to.
Ditto, returning it would just be a waste of your time. Just bend it back and save the time and possibly the few bucks for a stamp and stuff. Stuff happens to everybody, just get over it and move on.
Yah, its made to hold atleast one. When i bought it 3 years ago, it came with a mounting bracket that you put between the 2 horizontal bars. So i dont know about a 3x2 setup, but it definitely could do 3. Im sure with alittle handy work it would be possible.
I have a HDMI to DVI cable, and i have to admit, mine is pretty fussy as well. Im using mine for a 720p TV though.
When my new GPU comes with a HDMI port on it, i plan on using a HDMI cable to connect the two.
I just got this new Lian Li PC8NWX. Set everything up as usual, made sure everything was seated correctly, and powered it up. Fans turn on and everything looks good, but then there is a continuous beep that wont stop until i shut it down. The I/O pannel with all the USB's does not work, the...
Im stuck between 2 cards....
Palit NE5S450SF1101 GeForce GTS 450
and
MSI N450GTS-M2D1GD5/OC GeForce GTS 450
id feel safer going with MSI, just because im more familiar with them, but the Palit looks better specs wise.
My max is 130 bucks, playing on a 17inch lcd monitor, specs in...
Ditto. You DO NOT need a 3000 dollar laptop for college. Maybe 700. Dosent matter how much time you spend on it. If your that worried about gaming, then bring your desktop. Im 18, and its fairly simple to realize that i dont need to spend half my tuition on a laptop. The most id say to spend is...
Ill be taking it with me whenever i have my backpack with me, so pretty muck everywhere. Its gotta be durable. I plan on taking notes with it, essays, ill use it for music and movies also, and in my down time, alittle bit of gaming.
I was looking at a HP dv6z
So, im looking to buy a laptop for college, i would like it to play games, and right now, i have found this Acer Aspire AS6930-6942 , for 750 i dont really think that you could beat the specs for the price. Now, i know Acer has a rep for having crappy customer service and faulty hardware, but...
Im looking at buying a MSI Wind, what i wanna do is install Ubuntu on it. Pretty much what im wondering is if its going to recognize everything on it, wifi, touch pad, webcam, etc...
