I reinstalled UT2K4 and installed the 3236 patch instead of the 3270 and I am not having the texture problems so I think it was either the latest patch or the combo of it and the current ATI drivers.

I put an Arctic Cool Copper Silent 2L on my 8RDA with an Athlon 2600+ and used Arctic Silver5 as I figured that would be the best thermal compound for it. However, the Arctic Cooling web site staes this:

Same problem here and I don't have SP2 either. I am trying to remeber if it started after I installed the last UT2K4 patch but I know it's not a DX9.0c problem because I still have b.
I will probably reinstall UT2K4 and see what happens but I think the patch might be the culprit. Have you...
The eVGA 6800NU that I just got said it requires a 350 watt or higher PSU. Of course, it also depends on the brand too as there are a lot of crappy PSU's that don't truly put out the power they claim.

I read the review of the Asus V9999 Ge on Got Apex today and it seems like a great card. How long have you had it?
Since I still have two Athlon XP's, I liked reading the conclusion which states:
"With the Sapphire Toxic, you had a great package and a card that was natively overclocked...
Yeah I saw that after I looked around some more. Just wanted to post this since I has seen a lot of posts here about getting the MSI. While I don't have the MSI 6800, my MSI 9800Pro works really well but I just wanted to share some info that I had founs since I hadn't seen it posted here.

What are your system specs?
Never mind, I clicked on you name and got them.
I have an Athlon XP 3000+, 1 GB Corsair XMS PC3200, MSI RX9800PRO-TD128, Dell 2001FP, and have been wondering if I would notice a significant improvement with a vanilla 6800 myself.
