I need a new rig, but I'm a bit tight on money now. I'd just like to get comments on this newegg build.

Would you say an E4300 or a Brisbane x2 3600 is the best for a budget OC system? I'm also looking for a solid upgrade path in the future when I can get a bit more money.
Since my other printer stopped working, I decided to try to get an new printer. I went shopping around, then saw a very good deal on an old HP DeskJet 820Cse at a local used computer store. It's a good (but slow) color inkjet from the late 1990s. It only cost me $30, too. But anyways, it's...
Yes - another one of those threads ;) I'm trying to decide between 2 builds - 1 AMD and one Intel. I'm not using my build for much heavy work - only light gaming like WoW and some stuff like Company of Heroes and the occasional game of BF2142. I'm also using the build for the typical...
I've got my new build all planned out... only question left is about the mobo. Should I go with P965 based mobos or should I go with one based on the newer 650i chipset? I'm getting an E6400 and plan to do some light to medium overclocking. Which one would you choose?
I'm just about 3 seconds away from hitting buy and finalizing my build. I've only got a couple of questions.
#1 - Should I SLI or not? Which would you choose? 7950GT or 2x7600GTs?
#2 - Can people review the rest of my build?
Mobo - P5B Deluxe (no SLI) or P5N-SLI E (SLI, 650i chipset)...
Activities:
- WoW, Oblivion, BF2142, and Company of Heroes
- Some folding
- Adobe Photoshop/Premier
- Light overclocking (up to 2.4Ghz ish)
Build:
Core 2 Duo E6300
ASUS P5N-SLI (considering switching to a 965 based board)
eVGA 7900gs
2GB G.Skill DDR2 800

I'm considering buying a Dell XPS 410 for a friend. It's an especially attractive deal for me since you get a 19" thrown in free and you can upgrade to a 20 incher for $50. I'm just wondering what people think about the XPS 410 and what Dell's XPS tech support is like these days.
Right now, I have a Dell Inspiron 600m that has one hell of an overheating problem. It idles at 58C, which is way too hot for a Pentium M. When I play games like WoW, the thing goes up near 100C! Plus, once the temperature goes over 80C, it's hardcoded into the BIOS that the processor...
Like the title says, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a budget build for me (including case). Note: I'm also OK with buying the rig whole (from an OEM) if its cheaper. I'd say the price limit is around $700, but I could stretch it to $800. I'm looking for something that's cheap now, but...
Yes... another one of those threads... ;)
I'd just like to know if anyone has suggestions for this budget gaming rig before I buy

In light of the recent AMD K8L info, what should people do if they're considering a new computer?
EDIT:
I'm going to end up using it for:
- Medium gaming (WoW, Oblivion, BF2, some new DX10 stuff when it comes out)
- Linux (yes, I use it)
- Not much overclocking (I don't plan on going that...
Yup, another person asking for build advice. ;)
Anyways, I have a friend that's interested in getting a new rig - his old Pentium 3 isn't exactly cutting it anymore. :) He mainly uses Gentoo Linux (compiling!!!) for everyday stuff, but uses Windows for gaming. He plays Oblivion, Battlefield...
I'd like everyone's opinion on how long these two builds would last before a upgrade (meaning new mobo or CPU, not just RAM or graphics) and I'd like to hear any suggestions if you have them. I'm going to be using this computer for gaming (WoW, Oblivion, Battlefield 2, etc), graphics work (I'm a...
This is going to be my first purchase from Velocity Micro - after reading everything about them here on the forum and on [H] Consumer, I decided to go with them. :) Anyways, I'd like everyone's opinion on which system I should get. You guessed it - it's AMD vs Intel.
The computers are going to...
