BlackBerry Pearl its an amazing phone. I used to have a Razr and it was trash compared to the BlackBerry its a solid phone, excellent battery life and a awesome screen.
I have used it and it does a fairly good job. It is alot better than FrontPage and has almost all of the features of Dreamweaver but adds ASP.NET 2.0 support. Its worth it I think.
Its actually a pretty good board, I got one for $25 from newegg and it was probably the best value. I would try for atleast 512mb or 1gb. It will be really nice for kids with that. I don't see that board limiting the performance that much just the RAM.
Most colleges I know of seem to use Visual Studio 2005 or Borland. You should beable to use the free Express Edition of Microsoft Visual C++.NET and just use an Empty Project and add the .cpp source file.
The http://www.asp.net site also has some excellent video tutorials to make your own system if you wanted to, with watching a video and minimal experience it shouldn't be that hard to do. http://www.asp.net/learn/videos/default.aspx?tabid=63
On Windows for development you might want to use XAMPP it installs Apache, PHP, Perl, and MySQL all at once so you don't need to do them separately. I've used it together with Dreamweaver for development before. http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html
Are you sure that the neighbor isn't hoping onto your wireless network? I've seen it done and its very possible especially if he doesn't have Internet or has slow Internet access.
I've noticed some but nothing too out of the ordinary but with SLI there is no way I could ever fit a soundcard in. You might want to look into the external audigy.
It looks like their Developer Pacakage has the DNS management that you want. I'm not sure though, If not you might want to look at a Virtual Shared Server.
I'll give that a try. I had a similar problem with a Pentium 4 system and it was the motherboard. I will try remounting the CPU Cooler, which is a Zalman 7000CU. Outside of that it was a great computer.
I've been trying to diagnose what is wrong with my eVGA SLI system. Has anyone had a system where the fans spin up but no video and then it shuts off after a minute or two. I cleared the CMOS and tried running it with just the bare minimum. It has a FX-60 and a Enermax Liberty. I also tried a...
Sony makes some very nice camcorders. For college and carrying around a small camera is super nice. You might even consider getting the next model down so you would have money for a few accessories like a tripod.
The Pros use Final Cut Pro. iMovie is OK for editing but the title effects are nothing compared to Final Cut Pro. iMovie isn't bad but once you get used to a real editing suite like Final Cut Pro it just feels better to use. iMovie does have themes built in which make it nice to use for simple...
The Sony DCR-HC36 is a very nice small camera to carry around. It uses MiniDV tapes and has firewire out so you can easily get the video into your computer.
Generally the SATA to Parallel adapters don't work well and in some instances decrease performance because of the bridge chip. I would try a Abit Serielle first because I believe they sold them with motherboards and they could work with Optical Drives. Another option would be to take the back...
I would say Sony. Depending on how compact you want they have some very nice models that work great. If you want to stick with Canon or Nikon then I would have to say Canon.
It would be nice to have the footer always be at the bottom of the page instead of how it dangles up in the middle on a larger screen. If you google footer alt stick there is a method on how to do it.
I'd say OS Commerce too. I made my own using ASP.NET 2.0 but OS Commerce saves you alot of headaches of security and there are tons of pre-made templates for an OS Commerce site and you can easily get rid of the canned site look.
Visual Studio 2005 runs just fine on my 17" MacBook Pro.
There is a utility I read about that when you hold the control key down you can right click. Here is the link to it. http://www.geocities.com/pronto4u/applemouse.html
No problems so far here. Working very well in Mac OS and XP. One little problem was I couldn't use my MSDN ISO of Windows XP or my MSDN DVD to install XP it took a full Retail CD.
I like the Jumpdrive Lightening from Lexar, the Cruzer Titianium (becuase it retracts in), and the OCZ thumb drives. All of those are very good. If you're looking for a cheap and durable one then the San Disk Cruzer.
If you can find an Audigy 2 for cheaper or as good of a deal I would go for that over the Audigy 4. If you want a larger difference then go for the X-Fi.
Rooster, that is exactly why I need an auto mode. I'll look at the Promaster lens but I'd rather go with an L lens on the 5D.
I really like the 24-105 L because of the IS sometimes its hard to hold a camera steady but I find that easier with the heaver F717 over my lighter Sony P200. I think...
I was playing with my F717 and seeing what it is using as far as ISO, EV, and Aperature last night and it really wasn't that hard. The thing I like about Canon is that from the 300D to the 5D they all have Auto Modes to learn a little.
I will probably shoot RAW once I get comfortable with the Program AE mode. At first I am sure I'll be using Auto just to see what the camera suggests and then it won't let you do RAW.
