The pleather is actually cooler? Years ago I used some Sony headphones with the leather cups and long term wear in a warm room would be really uncomfortable. Since then I've always used cloth headphones. If this is true, I'd definitely want to give these a try.
Anyone only getting audio from the right channel on this video? I opened a different youtube video and I hear audio fine so I dont think it's my setup.

PM me with any questions. I can't provide a picture, bricked my phone :( If it's a dealbreaker I'll...
For the minor effects it's just not worth it (as an ATI owner). I was really hoping they would add more, but it's really no different than what they did for GRAW years ago. I really regret spending $300 for that Asus Physx bundle :o
Those are the reasons I bought the special edition vhs over the originals long ago and I regret that. There's something unnatural about everything they added.
Sorry can't share any personal experience, but I just purchased this a few hours ago

Seems pretty good, cloth + open air for comfort. Mic should be fine given...
Original owner for all these items.

Most prices should be 50% what I paid retail, but feel free to haggle.

I ditched SLI and jumped on the 3870X2 just because of this. It may seem trivial to toggle SLI on/off, but when you have to do it twice every single time you want to play a game, it becomes very frustrating. Then there are the times when forceware decides to change my desktop resolution as well...
That's a 8pin CPU adapter you have and you should not plug it in. The wires are practically reversed and will damage your 2900xt and maybe more.
An 8pin CPU plug has 4x yellow (12v) on top and 4x black (ground) on bottom, top being where the little latch is. An 8pin PCIE plug has 4x black on...
Your PSU is plenty powerful enough. There are adapters for 6 to 8 pin:

You could probably find it cheaper elsewhere.
This is true.
I had discoloration problems with Tri-SLI. I would get this blue haze in games if I turned on SLI. Leaving it on and rebooting fixed it for me and it would never come back, unless I updated drivers or turned SLI off/on without rebooting.

These are the last components of my gaming system that I've been parting out. Both drives were purchased in November 2007 and have a manufactured date of Sept 2007 so the 5 year warranty is mostly there.
PM me if interested!

Yeah there are many cheaper alternatives if all you want to drive is a 30 inch monitor. All you need is a video card with a "dual-link" dvi port. Be weary of "dual dvi" as that just means two physical dvi ports, or dvi-d/dvi-a/dvi-i as that just means its digital/analog/both respectively. None...

probably safer to use these if you have a single rail psu.

I have the same problem, as well as many others on Creative's forums. I used to cringe everytime I turned my speakers on. It is certainly a driver problem, as the Prelude has fixed drivers available. Someone on those forums modified the driver to work with the regular X-Fis, but there are some...
I replaced the fan in my pcp&p 1k-quad with a panaflo L 80mm. The computer ran fine 24/7 using around 400 watts, though the PSU casing did get quite warm. The fan connector they used was not standard (I spliced mine, though there are many other options).
I have no idea what their stance is on...
can you run in windowed mode? hit alt-enter if you cant do it from the menu. switching between them might help. i have a different problem where the game freezes at the EA logo on fullscreen, but runs fine windowed
Three ultras would take up six slots; ATX lets you have up to seven. In the case of the reference 680i boards you'd still have the top PCIe 1x slot. Or if you have the DFI board and room under your motherboard, you'd have two PCI slots. Though in the case of the 780i reference you lose it all .
I'm surprised there are problematic SMD parts on the back of the cpu area. I thought they fixed this problem as the A1 that I purchased in May is clear of them (no problems installing the Zalman 9700NT backplate).
your rig isn't prone to crashing? a quick check would be to see if hitting capslock lights up the led on your keyboard the next time your monitor goes off and won't come back on.
if when you mean "turned off" as in the monitor power light goes out (ie no orange/green light, not in power save)...
Is your Xbox audio set to Digital Stereo? I don't think the X-Meridian can take multichannel digital input (and doesn't do Dolby Digital decoding on its own).
The XtremeMusic was replaced by the XtremeAudio, but the XtremeAudio is a bad choice because it doesn't even use the X-fi processor (it uses Audigy, and runs X-fi features in software).
The XtremeGamer doesn't support the i/o bay drive or the elite i/o set, and lacks X-ram. The XtremeGamer...
