What I found interesting about this article is that they make mention of the single card comparisons were g80 beats the R600 in XP. However, there is a lack of HD 2900 XT CF and 8800GTS SLI benchmark comparisons in Vista. Unless I overlooked I haven't found any. Does anyone have a link...

Make sure you remove the 2 screws to the left in order to remove the HS cover or else you cannot remove the HS.
Here is a photo of the HS as you can see the mosfet HS is also incorporated.
In these photos you will see what looks like drill (milling) markings on the HS. It's not as bad...
Side note before you play this game on XP:
If you have a xinput1_3.dll error download it here and install it in C:\windows\system

This is a food for thought thread:
Can 1 pint of water circulating in your loop (usually found in some T loops) help increase temps no matter how well you rad cools it?
VS
Can 5 gallons of water circulating in your loop help decrease temps no matter how well you rad cools it?
For the sake of...
Here is what I did to lap my IHS:
Step 1 Remove the Nickel layer and even out your surface area
Original CPU
Wet Lapped
I used 120 grit sandpaper (wet sand)
I started off with 120 grit sandpaper. Why? It allowed me to remove more IHS material in a shorter period of time. However, do to...

I never heard of this panel before and after some research I cannot obtain any information.
a-Si Panel is the name and I do believe it's made by Sony but that's all I know.
This is a pretty large community, why can't we just come together as one and request that our xbox 360, PS3 and Wii update the firmware to support 1200i/1200p? You know, it makes no sense to jump through these many hoops when a firmware update from your favorite console would fix this problem...
Calibration Systems
Have any of you considered investing in a decent monitor calibration system to get the most out of your monitor? Once you use one correctly you should see a better image quality. Also, if you plan on buying a monitor it's well worth the investment to calibrate your monitor...
I have 4 monitor in mind and your help would be greatly appreciated.

WIth the onset of Solid Stat Drives soon to hit the market is it better to wait and buy a SSD (which suppose to increase performance by roughly 2 fold vs standard HD) or continue seeking standard HD. Prices off SSD are might be very high at first however by 2008 they maybe competing in standard...
Can you get a high performance HD without having to go to scsi? Or do you prefer a scsi drive which mean you have to install a separate SCSI Controller Card? Hmm, never understand why the majority of MBs never came with a SCSI Controller...
Which do you prefer, the standard IDE, compatible or enhanced mode (which equals PATA I think) or the AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) for your SATA, SATA II hard drive?
Has one been known to be a better performer then the other? I am not really implying raid here as you don't need...
EATM & ATMAlphaSharpenmode to your ATI video card (ATMAlphaSharpenScale & ATMAlphaSharpenBias can be added as a bonus)
Enable EATM is like Adaptive Anti-Aliasing but has reduced performance hit vs. Adaptive Anti-Aliasing. EATM increases alpha
Coverage/Detail and it's noticeable in games...
