When pairing the discrete card with a CPU that has 3MB of L3 cache and a vastly superior architecture, of course it isn't.
They should've benched the 550 with either an 880K or the 7890K with the iGPU disabled.
I'm not at all certain that it would've made a significant difference, as dGPUs...
Wellllll...technically:
GIGABYTE Radeon RX 460 WINDFORCE OC 4GB GV-RX460WF2OC-4GD-Newegg.com
Some GT 730/740 cards also have 4GB, but those are obviously not enthusiast-grade.
I want a minimalist, sub-30L ATX minitower -- something like the Daotech X10 Bellum but with more space for SSDs, better cooling and cable routing, and without its bulky-ass front bezel.
Could a slightly taller (~370mm/14.5") SG10 do the trick?
Which would effectively limit this forum to the discussion of approximately a dozen cases...
Those that matter (mods) don't mind.
Those that mind (you) don't matter.
Good grief, how did Silverstone fuck this one up?
If they made this case DTX-compatible they'd've increased its usefulness tenfold.
As it stands, any GPU you try to put in that thing (even the Sapphire 7750) is gonna get choked by the proximity to the PSU.
Bad, bad Silverstone! No dinero for you!
This question might've already been answered but this is a long-ass thread, so sue me: :-P
I'm moving my current ITX setup from an old temp case (NSK4480); can I install my 3.5" HDD anywhere besides the included bracket without heavy modding?
Since my old optical won't fit I'm going without one.
Why get a 3570K if you're getting an H77 motherboard? You might as well save $40 and get a 3350P:

Since you won't be overclocking, you might as well either go 1333/1600 and spend $10-15 more on 16GB...
^^ what he said
a cube case is gonna look awfully silly sitting in a tower cubby

Get this board and get 8GB DDR3 1600 CL9 for free: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128554
EDIT: I didn't see you were only considering ITX cases, just saw the max dimensions and assumed you'd be fine with a mATX build.
the stock PSU of my ISK 110 doesn't break a sweat with Blacklight: Retribution running nonstop on my A6-3500 for hours
temps rarely get above 45º C even in mid-summer
the 5700 has the same TDP -- it won't be an issue
if you're only gonna be using it for movies and TV shows you could've saved a shit-ton of money and gotten an AMD Trinity
the 5700 is now available for retail and has a 65W TDP

NSK3480, painted black inside and out, with the external 3.5" bay being replaced by an internal 3.5"/2x2.5" bay and a front bezel mesh grill over the front 92mm fans.
Sell four versions: with/wihout a window and/or PSU (preferably the Earthwatts Platinum 650w).
Trust me, the PS07/TJ08-E are significantly smaller than most ATX mid-towers.
the PS07/TJ08-E is 385mm long x 374mm tall; even an ATX mini-tower such as the PC-A05N is 490mm long x 380mm tall, and I think 10.5" cards barely fit in that.
