I don't think you need a display driver for your laptop's lcd? Does get the display drivers, either Intel GMA 900 or ATI x300.

Staples sells a stand, an Ergotron Neo-Flex LCD Stand very similar to the stand that came on my Gateway FPD2185w. The stand was very sturdy, easy to use. Only downside was I didn't think it looked good aesthically. Good luck!

Yeah, I don't think there is a driver. Just install the eztunes software and that should add the resolution option to your display settings.

But I'd advise against the Gateway.

The Gateway FPD2185w 21" widescreen has component (in addition to vga, dvi, composite, svideo, usb 2.0 4 port hub). Retail $600 but easily had for $500.

Just curious, what was the last/latest revision of the 2405fpw?

In my opinion, playing these game systems through this high resolution monitor will result in picture quality that's worst than your composite tv.
