That is the Philips Twin Eye PLN 2032 sensor. I have the mamba which has the same sensor and it has acceleration/z-axis issues to the point to where I dont use it anymore - unfortunately its pretty bad. If you like acceleration in your mouse, it'll be great, but there's a saying that goes...

The G400 has sensor issues past 800DPI but up until there it's a great sensor from what I've read. Plus it's fixed DPI, that has what has kept me from getting one.

I would love to get that mouse if it didn't have the avago ADNS-A9500 sensor in it which has positive acceleration built into it. :(

I have the g700 and I don't mind the weight personally. How is the sensor on the kana? Is it crazy accurate like the Ikari? I've been looking for an accurate mouse like the Ikari but with a better build. The Ikari's just don't last, I've gone thru 2 of them with even moderate use.

Especially the link to which mice have the different sensors in them, which ones to avoid, etc.

Hmmm seeing as the only mouse that has the same sensor as the Ikari is the nova slider (unavailable anywhere), I'm wondering which has the more accurate sensor, the DA 3G original or the DA 3.5? I have the DA 3G original from when it first came out :D

That really sucks because they could do so much more with it. It only gave 3 DPI settings that aren't changeable. :(

Ok cool. I was just wondering because when Im looking at reviews, the corsair was reviewed as 'average' speed, while the crucial's speed was 'excessive' and gave about a 10% real world difference in gaming. It's only about a 6$ difference though so I might take a closer look at them.

Yeah me too. I've never had a problem with gigabyte and the board that is giving me problems is an asus board, but this is the first one I've issues with.

Based on the reviews of those boards I think il stick with the gigabyte boards.

Unfortunately there isn't one in az. There's a frys electronics here, that's it as far as where to buy motherboards and pc parts. Wish there was a microcenter here, looks like a good store and frys has pretty limited stock.
