What level difficulty is everyone playing at? My wife and I are going to start tonight, however, the normal difficulty seemed quite easy in beta (although that is only the very beginning).
Correct.
Games like SWAT, and Rainbow 6 were both great in their own right. It's sad to see the de-evolution of shooting games.
Quite frankly, I just can't stand Ubisoft, I choose not to support any endeavor they are apart of.
This shouldn't even be open to response. Hands down the worst community has to be the MOBA games, particularly, League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth.
Take a competitive game, that you can not leave the match pursuant to receiving a penalty - and you have a recipe for disaster. Add to the...
I both love, and hate, this game.
I encountered my first game breaking bug last night on a mission enemies were suppose to spawn and didn't. I had to replay the mission twice in order to get it to work. There are also other missions that feel broken, insofar as enemies spawn again if you...
Are you serious? Perhaps you're not referring to 'Sabu' anymore.
These people ran an organized ring of corrupting and stealing company data. This was not limited to - stealing hundreds of thousands of credit cards. In many cases they even used the credit cards without user permission.

Would you please explain this to me please? From the casual observer who has never owned a handle held gaming system, it just looks like a refreshed PSP with some limited smartphone capabilities.
I can't see how a 250-300 dollar mobile gaming system, with 40-50 dollar games can compete in a...
What made you change your mind about the game? Two weeks ago you had been very critical about what you had seen in pre-release and that you were not going to pick it up until there was a demo .
Likewise I didn't care for the game in beta - now I'm on the fence
Pass on Netflix. Pass on Kinect. Pass on Hulu. Pass on stupid Windows Phone, and Windows 8 tile layout. Pass on Larry Hryb - I can't stand his smug face. Pass on secret santa and office parties.
Bah Humbug, I'm in a bad mood today.
+1 cloud saves
Same!
I am going to see if my wife wants to play it. The two betas (Firefall, DOTA2) that I am really looking forward to I am left out in the cold thus far.
After being away from World of Warcraft for a few months, I resubbed today to try out the new dungeons and Transmog(somethingsomething). Last week I bought Rift and I was unable to get past level 15, it just wasn't for me.
I have attempted to play the Star Wars Beta, but the experience was...
Ultrabooks
Form over Function
Style over Cost
I travel for work, semi-regularly at that. Many business professionals have laptops/desktops owned by their companies. I can not see mine transitioning from a Dell Latitude to an ultrabook unless the cost was the same or less.
Do you think my job...
While I admire the shared work ethic of you and you father, this post is very pretentious. I am older then 25, and have taken a day or two off of work in order to play a video game. I do not feel ashamed of myself.
I've banked my hours just the same, so what's the difference if I use time off...
Hey! I am the same as the user above me.
1.) Logitech G35 - It's amazing
2.) Everything, but mostly Teamspeak these days.
3.) Back button on side of mouse for PTT
I will preface this by saying I own each system as well.
If you honestly believe the PlayStation has a better online system, the more power to you. I respectfully disagree on all aspects. Along with, the private chat rooms being "minor". If you have friends being able to chat while playing a...
I may look into Gears 3, I just haven't found any excitement thus far. I have previously bought all three games, to which I have sold them all back at some point. There may be strategy in much of the online modes; doing team deathmatch with an organized team might be more fun.
Is Gears 3...
Sorry - late to the party but I have to respectfully disagree. A "map pack" signifies that all you are getting is maps. Vietnam has all new weapons, vehicles, music, and yes maps. It's amazingly well done. Some maps don't have as much cover, but that's war. Stick with your tank if you need it...
My setup is very similar to yours - AMD 965BE + 6870. I also run the same resolution maxed with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Definitely video card or driver issues here.
I am indifferent. I've seen many good arguments here that both support, and criticize the price increase. I have three thoughts.
1.) I wish that Microsoft was giving users a heads up as to the new features to expect on xbox live. I think this would ease some of the tension.
2.) I don't think...
The first match or so I was convinced it was just a roster update. Finally I started giving some more consideration over the course of an hour or so. I have to say, the game is a good improvement over 10, but not earth-shattering.
Pros:
I've seen a lot of complaints over the "slower"...
46" Samsung and Xbox 360 in the living room.
32" Dynex and PS3 in the Bedroom
It's funny how image perspective makes the 32" look almost the sames size.
Honestly, the only sports game that I buy new every year is EA's NHL. This isn't an insult about lack of new features to the games; I honestly believe they do actually try quite hard to make the game better each year.
Rather, I buy the previous years version of NCAA when the new game comes...
I don't get this! I was hoping for a smaller unit with a built in power supply. It took them years to get this new design out. I have to admit, it's quite a letdown.
I think two things changed that made gaming "easy"
First, the industry was built around home "arcade" machines. So if you wanted to play video games in the 80s you generally had to spend coins to do so. Games weren't meant to be easy, if they were, you wouldn't have spent as much money as...
This whole argument is silly. I love/have loved PC gaming for almost 20 years. However, I have news for some of you. The PC gaming market needs consoles, more than they need them.
The console market has been, and probably will be the "money" market for some time. As such, it doesn't really...
Buying: Amazon > Goozex (if you have something to trade) > Ebay > Gamestop
Selling: Ebay > Goozex > Amazon > Gametop
Although this is just my personal opinion, and isn't ALWAYS true. Although I just did some major trading and selling on Goozex, you need to check various sites for prices if...
Just curious, my friend and I are having WoW fatigue. Interested if people who bought this game back in October are still playing? or is the games' long-term content lacking?
Question for those who bought the item:
When imagining it in my head, the one thing that comes to mind is that your thumb would have to be elevated higher, does this lead to fatigue?
Also - what is some of the feed back on the item for those who have used it? Pros, Cons?
A little bit more background to this whole debate.
Throughout the course of WoW's history, the largest consensus was that Warrior tanks were the best raid tanks.
During the Burning Crusade, more non-warrior tanks began to sprout up (Pallys + Druids). However, due to better cool downs...
I was on my 4th 360, before I bought a new jasper. I can tell you from my experience, the last time the xbox died I wasn't getting RROD just freezing after 5-15 seconds after system boot.
I sent the system in all the same, and it was fixed and shipped back no problem. However, unethical it...
If I do buy the game it will probably be the xbox 360 version. For a number of reasons.
1.) My computer is getting old (9600gt + intel c2d e6300); the only other game I play is WoW, and I cannot justify spending money to upgrade a computer for one game, while everything else I play runs fine...
I can't find reason to criticize the people who waited in line at midnight to buy the game. It really comes down to what you enjoy in life. It's easy to laugh at people who act like dorks when they buy a new game, but I'm sure everyone here gets a little obsessive about things they take value...
