    Well underclocking and undervolting had no impact reducing the freezes. I know this ghetto 250w PSU is pushing it. The c2d alone pulls 125w on load. I'm just trying to get this 1U rackmount server in our lab working stably.

    the 1/2 grain of rize sized dab then letting the HS spread it out is a fool proof method for good results. However, in my systems I got a 4 degree celcius decrease in load temp from spreading the same amout out with my finger in a bag. --N
