"kitase says they're currently running it on a pc, so they don't know the work load of getting it on the 360. they are putting priority on the PC version."
Looks like SE decided to go full house here
Lmao, that was Cliffy B from Epic Games. Unreal engine 4 will be interesting to see if it doesn't use any API.
EDIT: Opps, it was actually Tim Sweeney. You can read the interview at http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/36410/118/

Im kind of new to the whole Folding at home thing, so I'm a little lost here. I just made it so i joined team 33 when it asked me what team to fold for in the instillation, that should be everything right? Also, what does iter/sec mean?

They had some pre-release drivers to play with, and about half way in talk about it a bit. According to them, it is possible to do physx and graphics on one card, but expect serious performance hits if you do
Just to run a quick comparison, at DX10 very high settings i just ran my 8800gts 640mb card through the GPU test in crysis at 1440x990 and averaged 25 FPS, so this would mean roughly a 40-50% boost from what i have now.
Its a driver issue, nvidia even says so in the release notes (or at least they did when the 8800gts 640 first launched) Consider yourself lucky that you dont play reality mod where things get 10 times worse
Anyone here know how CUDA works with SLI? For example could i keep an old 8800 and stick in a newer card (e.g. GTX 280) with it and have them work together for things like physx or video encoding?
ya, same here. I was looking over all those 4850 specs, but ATI does not have anything like this at all
Also, looks like we wont be seeing this for a couple months

Sorry for the confusion, it was 10-30 ms. At the time, i thought the program i was using was counting in ms, but it was cs, and i jumped to conclusions too fast. Wish you could edit newegg reviews... :/ Here is what it looked like If anyone wants to know, in the end i returned the monitor...
Same thing here, i just figured i had a bum chip... :/ Im still pretty noobish to OCing cpus, so i just went back to 3.6 ghz so my ram can run at normal speeds. Anyone here have any tips on how far ram usually can be pushed?
Its using an updated WC3 engine, so go download the WC3 demo, and then crank AA/AF up to 8-16x and that is probably a good place to start for guessing how SC2 will run
Heres a thought, Nvidias next gen GPU, the 10800 has 256 stream processors all capable of running x86/64 instructions and run anything intel chips can.... I know its no likely, but we are talking crazy
Well, after hitting the upper limits of the stock heatsink and all the fans i could cram into my case, ive hit a limit of about 3.6 ghz with the e8400. Anyone out there have a good recommendation for a good heatsink thats not over 50$? preferably something at newegg too
Oh great, now Im not sure if i made a total mistake getting the 8400.... I can still return it, but is this something to really be concerned about? Anyone know if the P35s will be updated to work better with these chips? And from the looks of things, as long as you stay below 1.4v, you shouldnt...
Well, after double checking the heatsink, i found my problem. When i first installed it, only 2 of the tabs popped in, while the other 2 went into the motherboard, but never "clicked" in. I was a little afraid to push them any further before, because it was bending the motherboard a bit, and i...
Im getting some similar problems here... I have a gigabyte GA-p35-ds3l motherboard with the original bios on it and the e8400 with a stock cooler and it starts really getting high temps from just playing crysis (windows says 60% load max while playing it) Ive scene it hit up to 78C with the...
What would be the difference between a Phenom 9600 and a E8400? They are about the same price, and I'm really in the need of an upgrade here... Anyone have any advice about that? are the 2 cores in the 8400 fast enough to beat the 4 in the 9600?
The stop watch is counting forward, not backward in time, so the CRT has less lag ;) Also, MS are 1/1000th of a second, not 1/100th, but that program only counts to 1/100th, so it really is 10-30 MS input lag. That part confused me too :(
I was talking about CRTs. Although i have never tried 85hz, 75 still gives me headaches :( Ive never had trouble with LCDs and brightness though... To each his own i guess
Best advice would be to go to your local best buy and take a look for yourself. Personally, i thought the HPs were a lot better then the Samsungs, but because of the panel lottery its really a toss up. They all seem like great models, if you could just get a good version of either, go for it.
Hate to hijack a thread, but since this one already seems to be dedicated to input lag i thought id post in here. After reading this one, i got a little worried about a recent 24" LCD i got and its input lag and did some side by side tests with an older CRT and a stopwatch program and took some...
