The OP said he didn't want a separate amp, which means he cares a lot more about them looking exotic than sounding good.
A good 2 channel amp and a pair of largish bookshelves will blow away any of the powered speakers posted, and if you are willing to shell out over 3 grand, you can get some...
CB radios are also great out in the middle of nowhere where there is still iffy cell service. My Jeep club still uses them to keep in contact when out on the trails.
As for turntables, they will never die so long as people, like me, still continue to love the way they sound.

I think it is a semantics problem. For me DSP is just digital processing of an analog signal, such as applying an EQ, not converting from a digital signal to an analog one, which is what those speakers do.
I am glad that they are putting in a good DAC though, because most computer sound...
A user found out that IW left dedicated server code in, just disabled it. He has already re-enabled the console and lean.
