Not really. I have seen it for ~100 shipped. It's an older case, where's the Antec 902 is a better case has filters and what not. You can turn off the light in the top fan on 902. Save up and get what you want. As I always say, buy once, cry once.
ETA: And I think this is in the wrong section.
Screen works, hinges are a little bent. Keyboard and DVD drive does not work. Honestly, you need to replace to keyboard to get it working. Everything else works, motherboard, RAM, harddrive works. I just graduated undergrad I have no need for a laptop. All yours for $350 OBO.
2.4ghz Core 2 Duo...
I'd go Dominator GT, I think they should have some 2433mhz modules pretty soon. BUT I doubt you'll see a difference between a that and a nice 1600mhz kit. Save yourself some money on that RAM and get some SSDs.
Intel SSDs have 3 year warranties just as good as any other hard drive OEMs out there. I think the pros outweigh the cons. If you don't want an SSD, I suggest a RAID0 setup of some sort.
Just got a new 12month, I play only halo3, Already got this up to 45 already, 50 by the end of the week. Hit me up if you are decent(that means you know what a BR is and use it)

One thing that has been an added bonus is the tethering, "Mobile Hotspot" ipkg that has been taken from the Pre Plus and made to work on the Pre, I can tether to my phone when I'm in a bind.
How are you under ambient at idle, that is not physically possible with watercooling? 70F is about 21C. I'll just say your temp sensors are a little off.
But you can use it while it's plugged in. Good luck using the MX revolution while it's in its cradle. I guess if you had another mouse hooked up it wouldn't be a problem :p
I got a Perfomance MX and it can center-click haha. I do miss the dynamic hyperscroll or whatever on the MX Revolution.
Still a little overpriced for that Dell. I'm pretty sure you could have a 100mhz 486 for less than that back then, but being 8 back then and having to type command prompts into DOS and to get into windows (3.1 IIRC) was something else kids these days never had to mess with, haha.
Where were you buying laptops for 4 grand five years ago? Haha, I got a HP that was about that old that I bought from Costco with stuff common today (ie. Wi-fi, Bluetooth, etc.). Out the door was about a grand, I don't know where you got that figure from :D But I do agree that in today's market...
I'd spend about 2k on the computer and spend the rest on hookers and booze. That's what I'd do. No need to spend anymore than 2k on a rig.
Some alternative options:
-Build two rigs instead. (gotta have a contingency plan)
-Or get a laptop like someone suggested.
-Or just get another 30.
-Or...
X58 and P55 are supposed to exist alongside. For best performance, usually only seen with multiple GPU setups is what x58 is about. LGA1366/X58 is also going to support the new hexacore 980X when it comes out. I would skip the 950 as the 920 as I don't see the performance/value as the 920...
Just giving it a glance, do you really need a power supply that big/powerful in that small of a box. I'm pretty sure you can make due with a smaller, less powerful unit. I have the same PS but for something that big going into that small box, but eh, just my opinion.
Who's your ISP? Comcast likes to throttle, even if it's not bittorrent. And by throttle, it goes dead.
ETA: reread the OP, seems like Win 7 doesn't like playing with that KVM switch. My sentiments toward Comcast currently isn't the best. Only if I can get some FIOS in my area.
