What the heck is going on with D3. Some of it looks pretty good but some of it does not. D1 and D2 had that dark and gothic feel. It doesn't seem that way anymore from the videos I have seen. Also, why did they get rid of potions and stat points? Stat points are what added more dimension to...
Whats up with Blizzard?. First they take forever to make SC2 which is something they should have made a long time ago. A lot of my buddies who played SC all day and night have lost interest due to jobs, marriage, etc...I'm sure thats the case for a lot of other people as well since SC is about...
Bwhahah
Pro video game players - athletes?
No way. They are gamers and not athletes. Video gaming isn't a sport either. Now I'm a gamer and thats what I love to do but that'd be an insult to actual athletes if I called myself one for playing a video game.
Pro video game players sounds...
Well originally, this was what I was going to get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815123001
since it costs cheap and had decent reviews. But was wondering which were the recommended cards.
Well, this is a hardware message board. If nobody asked questions or asked for opinions, this place would not be very active. And I did do a search on TV tuners here but did not really find the answer.
I dont have MCE and pretty much want something simple to watch TV on my monitor.
I have an Asus 9800XT and see that it has a DVI and S-VHS connector on it. Can I use one of those instead of a TV tuner card?
Are there any TV Tuners that stand out or are better than the rest or are they all generally the same? I'm looking for an external or internal one w/ remote for under 100 dollars.
Also, will the picture be good and run smoothly just as it would on a normal TV?
And where did I or anyone here say that PC games make up a majority of the market? Fact is PC games are a much smaller market than the console game market but that has nothing to do with it. The thread was about the "decline of PC games" and not which market is bigger. It's also nice that you...
The only Final Fantasy like RPGs for the PC I know of are Septerra Core which is pretty old and FF7 / FF8 which of course are Final Fantasy games.
Other than that, ROMs would be the only other way to get FF like RPGs for the PC.

And again, like it says, online sales are not counted. Online sales for the PC are expected to grow to about 7 billion over the next four years. More and more people are buying PC games online so of course retail sales will go down.
PC games are not in decline if you count in the online sales. And again-
I pretty much believe what that article said about the PC market - it is a "very healthy and steadily growing marketplace." Unless somebody can provide proof that PC game retail + online sales are in decline, than...
I'm saying PS2 games for the PS2, Xbox games for the Xbox, and so on. What those sales from the article are based on are current games for the current systems.
Any gaming PC can play any PC game. Even mid range PCs can play a good amount of games. You can play the same PC game on any gaming quality Dell, Gateway, Alienware, or user configured. A PC game is a PC game. It's not a "Dell game" or "Gateway game." PC games are made for a broad range of...
Point is that the figures come out much different when you compare each console individually vs the PC.
I don't really get your point but that's what they are supposed to do - add up all the PC games sales. You can do the same for consoles in general but there are three different systems...
They are grouping all consoles vs the PC when it comes to game sales. So of course it will look as if consoles are dominating the market. As a whole they are, but not individually.
There is no decline in PC gaming. Online sales of PC games are also not included as the article says The more...
1) http://www.zophar.net/nes.html here is a list of pretty much all the emulators. The best ones are at the top.
2) I'm not sure about the converters but what I have read, they all work fine. You can always go with a PC gamepad such as a Gravis gamepad or the new Logitech gamepads if you...
They are both good.
DSL is slower than cable but you will always have a constant speed. For cable, the more people that subscibe to it in your area, the slower your cable will be- that is when they are on using it the same time you are.
Currently on a budget and I'm looking some good gaming headphones that do not cost much. So was wondering if the Sennheiser Hd202s are any good?

If not, then any recommendations?
The upcoming conoles power and performance is being overhyped. Yes they will be very powerful but Sony and MS are making them look bigger than what they really are. There was an article at Anandtech a while ago and what some devs said about it:
"...the real-world performance of the Xenon CPU...
I never really payed attention to flash drives and may need one right now.
Are you able to store data on it and then delete it or is it permanantly stored? Also, do you need any drivers to use them or can you just plug them into any USB port, get the data, and then use it on another computer...
I' have had the Enermax 365P-VE for about 3 years. It's 350 watts and still works ok. Someone told me that I should get a new power supply because my current rig is really working my current power supply.
my specs are:
3ghz amd 64
1 gig 3200 RAM
9800XT
60 gig hard drive
Hercules GTXP

I don't know why he brings in sports with video games. Sports require more skill and hard work to get good or become excellent at. You have to train yourself both physically and mentally. Videogames also require work and time to get good at but all you do manipulate data with your fingers and...
