Yeah, we stopped by at 7:30am and it was a madhouse. We just drove up the street to a real greasy spoon diner and paid $4 for 3 eggs, 1/2lb of homefries, toast, coffee, juice, and 1/2 a muffin while we waited for our food. ;)

Received one of mine today and I'm happy with it for $14.99. Only thing to note is that it was inspected back in Feb '07 so that makes the battery 19 months old(at least). Hopefully the lack of charge didn't kill it. Thanks again OP... just wish they weren't OOS 'cause I could use two more...

OLD THREAD ALERT. ;) Received my first Motor Trend magazine from this promotion today. And I noticed it was for a two year subscription instead of one. :D Thanks again OP.

The local heating oil company that we had our contract with three years ago up and decided they weren't going to honor our locked in price anymore. They sent some BS about how unlocking the price would better our chances for saving money in the long run... :( Absolute BS, they were loosing...

I wonder how many IT people actually try to use the "client" after they set it up? I install data circuits for the local telco and that's the biggest complaint I hear from the people using these virtual computers... "looks good when they come down and install it, but after a week or so you...

Yeppers... gigE is much faster than my server can cope with. Although, it is a nice step up from 100mbps.

Another 939/DDR1 fan here. :D When you have four 939 rigs for the family, it's hard to justify "upgrading" to AM2/DDR2. If all mine weren't dual core already, I'd be in for one of these... great deal imho.

Even though at one point my father in-law received an email saying had missed the cutoff time/date AND that Microsoft never received any of his computer's information... he still will be getting Vista in "4 to 6 weeks". Gotta love Microsoft! :cool:

Oh this is funny now. As previously noted in this thread, my father in-law had not received any email from M$ up until a few weeks ago. I emailed them for him to make sure he was setup and they said that he missed the cutoff and on top of that they were not receiving any data from him. They...

Hmmm... Microsoft replied and said my father in-law didn't sign up in time? :confused: The email confirmation they sent him was received at 1:04PM EDT on 12/11/07. I thought the cutoff time was 2:00PM PST on 12/11/07? I'll email them with a copy of his original email next time I'm over there...

Cool. I sent an email there for the in-laws so hopefully they'll know soon enough if they're all set.

Thank God for Lockheed Martin and BAE being located in our area. Otherwise I shudder to think what things would be like here. NY really needs to lower taxes and get the economy going again. The idiotic "Empire Zone" program is a farce. It also doesn't help that we have the 2nd highest...

Agreed. It's funny that two of the Starbucks in my area have college student housing behind them so... free internet abounds anyway. ;)
